“Mediocre food at a hefty price. The filet I ordered was undercooked and due to being full from the clam chowder soup and bread, I didn't know until after I took it home. I fed the majority of it to my dog. The feedback I received from the owner was, "I bet the dog didn't complain." Suggestions: Train staff to have customers cut into their steak to make sure the temperature is accurate and cooked accordingly. (I regrettably should have done so anyways while I dined in) The owner definitely doesn't care about returning customers, but I will make sure to leave this review on multiple sites simply for the fact of how it was addressed with rude sarcasm. That in itself was more upsetting than the issue on hand. The owner is a bully and insults anyone who has a bad experience. I'll be contacting corporate to let them know after reading other reviews and experiences.“

good & reasonable--place is always packed--think it's rated #1 of all the restaurants in st. clair shores on tripadvisor--last night cori was our bartender/server--really nice & knowledgeable--we had the salmon BLT & pulled pork sandwich--both were yummy....we were here again today 9-10-26 & here is a fresh review--love this place--not expensive either--today we got a $2 beer & a $10 meal--better hurry as they are closing for the season in november--discovered their snoopy museum which is a hoot--family saved all their snoopy gifts & put them on display--tracey was our bartender today--she has been here 5 years..“

“month later and I'm just getting around to writing this review. That should tell you how memorable the experience was. We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday. We picked from one of the choices of limited menus for our large group. We were seated in the most beautiful location. Service was perfection my family is still talking about how good the food was. I will definitely be revisiting.“

“My husband and i came for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday (today) to a SLAMMED restaurant. Only one man seemed to be working the floor, which we found out later was the GM, Pudge. He was OUTSTANDING! He was cleaning tables, seating people, taking orders, delivering orders, prebussing tables, making drinks from the bar, THE WHOLE DEAL. On top of that he made time to stop by the table NUMEROUS times to make sure our experience was amazing, which it was. My husband loved his seafood boil and my chicken tenders were great! Because of today’s experience, we will absolutely be back! THANK YOU Pudge, for an excellent experience! I can’t tell you the last time. I had a wonderful over the top great experience at a restaurant.“

“😋This was the first time that I have eaten at River Rat. The food was sooo delicious!! My husband Larry and I had the Chicken Breast Montreal, I had coleslaw, and Chicken Noodle soup, and he had mashed potatoes, and green beans with his. His brother Mike, had the baked Walleye. “Hey, folks. If you’re thinking about checking this place out, I say “it is a must”. I am a dasher for DoorDash and I frequent this place getting orders, so I finally decided to order. Big fat OMG! I ordered a hot pastrami sub. Soooooo good. This place is located inside a gas station, so it is take-out only. Way worth it though. Most items seem to be between $12 and $16. There are some items above that, but the majority of items are quite reasonable. Only downside is limited parking space.“

“We rolled up to a full house with guests waiting on their take out food. Somehow you knew it was food worthy waiting for. There was community amongst strangers in anticipation of being fed. The car ride home was plagued with the aroma of delicious food, making a 15 minute drive feel like an eternity. Once home, we grabbed forks and dug in like starved hostages. I briefly reminded myself to chew and savory the flavors and not just inhale the plate like a wild animal. Starving or not, the food was perfect! Broccoli to perfection, rice that soaked up the sauce, chicken juicy, salmon flaky and moist. Would order again!“

I absolutely love this Manhattan Fish & Chicken location! 4th location I’ve tried n by far the best. Once I walk in or call, i’m always greeted kindly usually by Tasneem, who is always so polite, patient, and helpful. She has a beautiful, calming tone that really makes you feel welcomed. The food is always fresh and never cold even though it’s always busy. Highly recommend !!! PSA I ALWAYS eat my food to fast to post a pic of my food….promise I’ll upload one soon. Side note.
