“What a lovely and beautifully decorated restaurant, on the water, in St. Clair Shores, MI. We loved the variety of meals available and each of them were wonderfully prepared! Also, Laura, the restaurant manager, made sure that our dining experience exceeded our utmost expectations! We will certainly come back again!“

“Mediocre food at a hefty price. The filet I ordered was undercooked and due to being full from the clam chowder soup and bread, I didn't know until after I took it home. I fed the majority of it to my dog. The feedback I received from the owner was, "I bet the dog didn't complain." Suggestions: Train staff to have customers cut into their steak to make sure the temperature is accurate and cooked accordingly. (I regrettably should have done so anyways while I dined in) The owner definitely doesn't care about returning customers, but I will make sure to leave this review on multiple sites simply for the fact of how it was addressed with rude sarcasm. That in itself was more upsetting than the issue on hand. The owner is a bully and insults anyone who has a bad experience. I'll be contacting corporate to let them know after reading other reviews and experiences.“

“month later and I'm just getting around to writing this review. That should tell you how memorable the experience was. We celebrated my mother's 80th birthday. We picked from one of the choices of limited menus for our large group. We were seated in the most beautiful location. Service was perfection my family is still talking about how good the food was. I will definitely be revisiting.“

“My husband and i came for lunch at 2pm on a Sunday (today) to a SLAMMED restaurant. Only one man seemed to be working the floor, which we found out later was the GM, Pudge. He was OUTSTANDING! He was cleaning tables, seating people, taking orders, delivering orders, prebussing tables, making drinks from the bar, THE WHOLE DEAL. On top of that he made time to stop by the table NUMEROUS times to make sure our experience was amazing, which it was. My husband loved his seafood boil and my chicken tenders were great! “Went for an early dinner corn chowder was PUKE IN A BOWL ordered fish and chips to my surprise Chef is using low quality Pollock for high quality Cod talked to mgr and she had few profanities and hung up phone I have been a Chef for many years and detected this right off the bat don’t let them steal your money on low quality products 2pc $1799 and 3 pcs $20.99 they were 2oz pcs of fish!!? “We rolled up to a full house with guests waiting on their take out food. Somehow you knew it was food worthy waiting for. There was community amongst strangers in anticipation of being fed. The car ride home was plagued with the aroma of delicious food, making a 15 minute drive feel like an eternity. Once home, we grabbed forks and dug in like starved hostages. I briefly reminded myself to chew and savory the flavors and not just inhale the plate like a wild animal. Starving or not, the food was perfect! Broccoli to perfection, rice that soaked up the sauce, chicken juicy, salmon flaky and moist. Would order again!“

It’s a great family-owned business with several locations across Michigan—including Livonia, Plymouth Township, St. Clair Shores, Plymouth, Clawson, Wixom, Dearborn, Hartland, Howell, West Bloomfield, Southfield, Northville, Ferndale, Woodhaven, and right here in Warren. Despite having multiple spots, it still maintains that cozy, welcoming feel.

She was exceptionally helpful with recommendations, very down-to-earth, and had a great, authentic personality (definitely not robotic like you get at some places). “I visited Chicken Delight for the first time yesterday evening around 7:30 PM, and I was thoroughly impressed. The chicken was exceptional—freshly prepared with perfectly golden-brown, crispy skin. The potatoes were delicious, and the coleslaw had just the right balance of flavors and texture. Even the rolls were soft and fresh, which really rounded out the meal. This experience definitely earned my return business, and I'll be coming back soon. (I hope they start selling honey as a condiment for the rolls and chicken.)“
