“I'm a pretty picky customer and tend to nitpick, admittedly. However, I've been coming here for about 2 yrs now and NOT ONCE did I have anything to complain about except for the fact that they're not open 24/7 lol! The best sushi & sashimi in the country! It's always so fresh and the presentation is beautiful! Their meso & clear soup is superb and their housemade salad dressing is delicious! The hibachi is delicious & very entertaining and interactive. The atmosphere is always great. The service is wonderful and hospitable. The General Manager is exceptional and he has built an exceptional team. I won't go anywhere else when I'm craving Japanese cuisine!“

“The best fried rice ever. There isn't a food they make I wouldn't like. My favorite restaurant. The sushi is wonderful to, and the staff is always kind, and even remembers us!

Parking: Never had a problem or have to park more than 15 yards away from the entrance.

“I came here with my family to try it for the first time, and it did not disappoint! Everything was SO good and SO fresh. The sashimi pieces were so big! I also appreciate that they have fresh uni, it was so good. Other places serve uni, but you can taste right away that it’s not fresh.

Atmosphere and service was great! It does take a while to get your food because there’s a limited number of people working, but we didn’t mind because it was well worth the wait! We will be back :)“

“This ramen place is quickly becoming one of our family favorites. The ramen is always cooked perfectly and we almost always get the extra katzu (pork, chicken, or fish) for $3.95. The rice dishes are great too -- we have tried the curry dons, katsu dons, and the spicy pork dons. My daughter also loves the snow katsu and the fried cheesecake. Service is amazing and owners and staff are so friendly.

“This is probably the best sushi I've ever had in my life. Trust Chef and the wonderful waitstaff and you will be well taken care of.

Parking: Parking is in front of the restaurant. It is a smaller lot, but mensuration the restaurant is reservation only and timed meals. You shouldn't have any problems getting a space.“

Spider roll and eel nigiri was good, minus a tad too much avocado for the roll. The Bulgolgi was decent, flavorful but not the greatest cut of meat. Service is really the gold star here.“

“We booked these guys for a bachelorette party in Seaside and they were fantastic!! The food was delicious and they brought thoughtful touches like head sashes for all of us, a speaker and a fun playlist, and a special gift for the bride. It was a rainy night so we had to change the original plans for cooking outside; they helped us move furniture and rearrange everything to make sure the show would go on! I highly recommend Sunshine Hibachi catering, you won’t regret booking them for event.“

Parking: Next to a massive city lot. So unless it's a festival in town your set.

Wheelchair accessibility: Flat one floor so zero issues for handicapped persons. They have booths and tables. Bathroom was handicap accessible last I checked.“

“This place is GOOD. I decided to stop on a whim driving by and WOW. Got Shrimp, chicken, steak fried rice and teriyaki noodles w veggies. ITS ALL SO GOOD. Customer service was great, I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and you can tell they are trying hard to keep GOOD ASF hibachi affordable for us bc the quality of food and service to go they could charge way more imo. Like very very good. My teenage boy with bottomless stomach literally said THANK YOU GOD out loud when he saw the food and we kept looking at each other eating like mhm. mhmmm. 10/10.“

I got the royal chicken with eel roll combination box. The eel rolls were a bit lackluster (It had a tiny bit of eel) but the royal chicken was good. Came with an okay salad and rice.

“I am absolutely outraged with the behavior of the owner today at SOHO. My family and I went to this restaurant after Saturday little league games. We had 5 adults, 5 children and 2 babies. We have been to this restaurant countless times as a family. Today, after sitting and looking an menus, ordering drinks, we were met by the manager that came to our table and said “I’m sorry our limit is 8 people”. Confused, we asked for clarity because again, we have been to this restaurant countless times with the SAME group and number of people. In fact, we have NEVER been to this restaurant with less people. I asked, “wait are you saying we can’t eat here today because of the number of people?“ THAT is how confused I seriously was. The manager then responded, “Yes, I’m so sorry”. I pointed out to him that we had been sitting, getting ready to order for quite some time. Moments before this, the waiter came to take our orders but had to leave to grab us extra napkins. He said that his waiter called him all the way from his home because he couldn’t “do it” - referring to asking us to leave. There were quite a few other staff members there. So if this was a rule, why didn’t any of them point it out to the “new person” or let us know right away Of their “party limit”.? Please know we went on a Saturday around 330pm and there was two other parties in the entire restaurant - totaling only 5 other people. To me, if I had a party that was a few people over my “limit” I would not kick them out one, but definitely not when my restaurant is close to empty and the party has already been sat. Because of my “new team members” error- as a manager, I would have continued to serve this party. I need to point out that NONE of us in our entire lives have ever been asked to leave ANYWHERE. We are a Christian family of Pastors and ministers. I say this to speak to our character. There was no behavior on our end, that warranted this. I also pointed out that the table we were sitting at was DESIGNED for more than 10 people. We didn’t come into the restaurant moving tables and chairs together, the table was already set up for 12 people to sit there. I asked the manager why we were sat and waited on For all this time to then be kicked out? He claimed that the person who was our waiter was new and didn’t know their 8 people limit rule. I pointed out the fact that the table we were sitting at was set up for 12 And asked why that is if they had a limit of 8? He then said with our number of kids - it is not safe for them in the restaurant because their establishment serves alcohol. So first it was because our party was more than 8 and then it turned into being an issue with the number of kids? There is absolutely no reason for this behavior. To me, the only thing that makes any sense is it being racially discriminatory. I strongly urge you to no longer go to this restaurant. Of course, we left with no issue because if we are not welcome or wanted because of race or any other invalid reason- we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anyways. But point of my review is to prevent this from happening to anyone else. we used to love this place and our entire family would come. never again, even with 2 people will I step foot in this establishment and I will strongly encourage everyone I know and everyone that’s reading this to do the same.“

“My daughter and I visited Teriyaki Madness for the first time, and we were absolutely blown away! We ordered the chicken breast with rice and vegetables, and it was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The portion sizes were generous, and everything tasted so wholesome.

We had the pleasure of meeting Bernie, the owner, and he was incredibly kind and welcoming. You can tell he takes pride in his restaurant and genuinely cares about his customers. The atmosphere was clean and inviting, though I did notice that the dining area looked as though it was partially shut down, with chairs up on tables in the back. It gave the impression that part of the restaurant was closed, and unfortunately, there was no restroom available for use.

Even with those minor setbacks, the food and service were excellent, and we’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you, Bernie, and the entire team at Teriyaki Madness for making our first visit so enjoyable!“
