“I finally stopped in here on a blistery January day to try something different for lunch this time around. It seems like most of the Sushi restaurants around here are either outrageously expensive, have limited hours, or both. Sushi King's open and doesn't charge a lot for what they serve, comparatively speaking. The place is small, but it appears some upgrades have been done since they moved in here. Large, clean tables along with a few other upgrades that make it more inviting. I was greeted immediately and told to sit down and a waitress would be with me shortly. I got to review the menu and it appears they have quite a few menu options to choose from. While I'm not the most well versed in Sushi, I've had enough that I know what I like. I ended up getting their lunch special for $10.95 which came with two rolls and miso soup. While I wasn't thrilled about the Miso soup coming out first, it actually worked out quite well in the end. The Sushi rolls I got looked and tasted absolutely fabulous and had all the fixings with it. Wasabi sauce, soy sauce on the table, along with ginger and proper chopsticks. My bill was about $11 after tax, and I was happy with everything here. Finally, actual sushi without an attitude from people around me, not terribly expensive and very good as well. Overall, I'd gladly return in the future for a lot more.“
“Fantastic local sushi place in RH. Attentive servers and a diverse menu. We got the shrimp tempura and veggie tempura- super crispy and golden yellow, yum yum and Las Vegas rolls- 10 pieces each and the presentation and taste were delicious. There’s no alcohol at the establishment but plenty of other refreshments to choose from. Would def recommend!“

“I am absolutely outraged with the behavior of the owner today at SOHO. My family and I went to this restaurant after Saturday little league games. We had 5 adults, 5 children and 2 babies. We have been to this restaurant countless times as a family. Today, after sitting and looking an menus, ordering drinks, we were met by the manager that came to our table and said “I’m sorry our limit is 8 people”. Confused, we asked for clarity because again, we have been to this restaurant countless times with the SAME group and number of people. In fact, we have NEVER been to this restaurant with less people. I asked, “wait are you saying we can’t eat here today because of the number of people?“ THAT is how confused I seriously was. The manager then responded, “Yes, I’m so sorry”. I pointed out to him that we had been sitting, getting ready to order for quite some time. Moments before this, the waiter came to take our orders but had to leave to grab us extra napkins. He said that his waiter called him all the way from his home because he couldn’t “do it” - referring to asking us to leave. There were quite a few other staff members there. So if this was a rule, why didn’t any of them point it out to the “new person” or let us know right away Of their “party limit”.? Please know we went on a Saturday around 330pm and there was two other parties in the entire restaurant - totaling only 5 other people. To me, if I had a party that was a few people over my “limit” I would not kick them out one, but definitely not when my restaurant is close to empty and the party has already been sat. Because of my “new team members” error- as a manager, I would have continued to serve this party. I need to point out that NONE of us in our entire lives have ever been asked to leave ANYWHERE. We are a Christian family of Pastors and ministers. I say this to speak to our character. There was no behavior on our end, that warranted this. I also pointed out that the table we were sitting at was DESIGNED for more than 10 people. We didn’t come into the restaurant moving tables and chairs together, the table was already set up for 12 people to sit there. I asked the manager why we were sat and waited on For all this time to then be kicked out? He claimed that the person who was our waiter was new and didn’t know their 8 people limit rule. I pointed out the fact that the table we were sitting at was set up for 12 And asked why that is if they had a limit of 8? He then said with our number of kids - it is not safe for them in the restaurant because their establishment serves alcohol. So first it was because our party was more than 8 and then it turned into being an issue with the number of kids? There is absolutely no reason for this behavior. To me, the only thing that makes any sense is it being racially discriminatory. I strongly urge you to no longer go to this restaurant. Of course, we left with no issue because if we are not welcome or wanted because of race or any other invalid reason- we don’t want to eat at the restaurant anyways. But point of my review is to prevent this from happening to anyone else. we used to love this place and our entire family would come. never again, even with 2 people will I step foot in this establishment and I will strongly encourage everyone I know and everyone that’s reading this to do the same.“
“A hidden gem in our area was recommended to us. A small restaurant serving Japanese fare and spirits. Menus in Japanese and English. I had a chicken dish over rice that was generous in portion and superior in flavor. Our dining companions had an assortment of sushi selections served on 2 huge platters. Again, the sushi portions were large and flavorful. Service was pleasant, professional, and prompt. We will be back. I'd recommend Take Sushi to anyone wanting a quiet, Japanese meal in a cozy location with friends.Kid-friendliness: Children were treated with the same respect as the adults. The servers were as attentive as any I've seen anywhere we've dined.“
“This has become my new favorite sushi restaurant. The staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious. I did order a sushi roll that had truffle in it, and it was not my favorite, the flavors were not complimenting each other. Everything else we ordered was so flavorful and great that i would order it again next time. Boa buns were good, but not amazing.“
“It was a nice, cozy place and staff was friendly. We ordered the chicken yaki udon, chicken omurice, and 4 rolls of sushi (california roll, kazoku roll, las vegas roll, square lake roll). Everything tasted great but our favorite was the las vegas, square lake roll, and the yaki udon.“
“The sushi is really good. Prices are fair and service is great. I’d like to see this place full of customers because the food deserves to be tasted by many others. I guess the place could use some updates and that’s why it isn’t attracting as much people. However, I’ve gone once and quite late, so that might be the reason it was almost empty.“
“We moved to the area about 12 years ago and one of the first restaurants we visited was Noble Fish. My goodness it has changed a lot since. Originally it was a small grocery store at the same location with a tiny restaurant in back. Despite the cramped quarters and lines it was worth it. While that charm has vanished it's been replaced with a larger, fresh modern look. While I have not found a place that replicates the quality and taste, IMHO, Noble Fish is still number one in the area. Unfortunately as the economy has changed so have the prices. Overall I'm still very pleased with the restaurant and grocery selection. They must be doing great because they've grown over 2x and even have a new place in the Somerset Collecion.“

“Have been going here for years. I have travelled to many places around the world and had sushi, and Wow Sushi has one of the best authentic sushi I have had. The sushi is fresh and has consistent taste no matter what time and day I go. Love it! “With all honesty was coming to give a four star... but tasted the sushi, sashimi and nigiri, I'm impressed. The taste does not deserve anything less than five stars. The reason I waned to mark down was because there was one soy sauce box in a multiple order, no chop sticks, no napkins. But again, the taste deserves nothing less than five stars.“

“BahDah is easily my favorite sushi spot in the area. You simply cannot beat the value you get for this food. The lunch teriyaki bento box is a steal and my favorite thing on the menu. When ordering carry out my order has always been correct and the staff in store is super sweet. If you'd like to dine in there are some tables to do so. “We're regulars here. Most of the staff are friendly and the place has a great vibe to it. Marshall especially is a great dude. I get the curry yaki udon, it's not on the menu anymore but you can still order it. It's my favorite food so I love coming here. The drinks they offer are delicious. The only thing "bad" about this place is that I feel bad always having to ask staff for a fork for my noodles, since I don't like using chopsticks with noodle dishes. I wish the utensils were still available to grab yourself. Besides that, A+.“

The hibachi menue is great, chicken steak and shrimp 10/10! And their miso soup is perfect! last but not least, portion size is great for dine in and Togo! What was most st disappointing was there were only 8 customers. I am typically pretty patient with restaurants due to workforce issues but this was just a really bad waitress. “I'm a big fan of Ube flavored foods. And this was the first time trying cotton cake because I heard that they had Ube flavored Japanese cheesecake. The cake was moist and fluffy, wasn't too sweet, it was pretty good for a Japanese cheesecake, but the flavor didn't really have that authentic Ube taste to it. I've tried other Japanese cheesecakes and this place is good, but not as comparable to the others I've had. The employees were kind and attentive. And the place itself was very cute. They have a different variety of ice creams, pastries and cakes. The cheesecake with Nutella and pistachio was pretty tasty.“

“Loved everything about this place. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. The food was excellent. We had the seaweed salad, takoyaki, and gyoza for appetizers. For entrees we enjoyed bowls of ramen, the Tonkatsu and the Shoyu. Both were perfect. We also loved that they brought little platters with pickled veggies and kimchi, and a small house salad before serving our food. That was a nice touch to top off the already great service. Loved it. “Lunch Deluxe Bento box is great. A ton of food, but it's not always consistent. The Sesame Chicken and General Tso's Chicken are good, not great. The California roll is very good as well. They do have amazing prices for the amount of food you get.Parking: Small parking lot with the Starbucks drive thru that can block the parking at times. Getting out of the parking lot onto the street if you're turning left is definitely difficult, but it's a strip mall on a busy corner but that's not their fault.“
