“I only picked up a Mac and cheese as I love Mac and cheese and I wasn’t too hungry, the lady at the drive through window was very nice, and I am not saying this a bad place to eat as the only thing I’ve tried so far is the Mac and cheese, I just didn’t like it. The noodles were too soft it wasn’t thick and there was no cheese crust on top which I LOVE. Soul food places are my go to for Mac and cheese, but the lady who was working was very nice and welcoming, I 100 percent plan to come back and try the fried tilapia and collard greens, and maybe even give the Mac and cheese another try, maybe the bake just wasn’t the best today!“

“Pros: With our reservation, we were seated promptly. Pros: The hostess and waitresses understood that things were hectic and were accommodating. Con: My entire party was not all sat together Con: Entirely too cold in the restaurant. We kept our jackets on while we ate. Con: The hot water in the women’s bathroom does not work. Con: We had to wait about 2 hours for our food. Con: The $10 cover charge per person is opportunistic. I would have much rather done without that loud a** music. Con: They forget parts of your meal/drink. Con: 18% gratuity is already included. All in all, I’m always looking to support my own, but we have to do better. I understand it’s fairly new but it definitely has some kinks to work out and it starts by not exploiting those who support you. Either get rid of the band or take off the cover!“
