“Passing through this area. We chose it because it was by Lake Michigan. So glad we did because we had a great experience. The owner sat us at our table...it was his parents restaurants way back and now he is the owner. Our waitress has worked there since she was in high school. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and so sweet. My first time having swordfish and perch. It was delicious. We had a good experience and would love to go back.“

“Awesome experience tonight with SBP and our server, Zach. This was the first time I’ve ever felt confident ordering off a menu for my child with multiple food allergies. Allergy protocol was outstanding, menu with listed allergens was extremely detailed. My girl enjoyed the whole experience of playing with the pizza dough and trying the pizza which has topped anything we’ve attempted to make at home - I loved feeling confident that her food was being handled with care. Thank you for making this an inclusive place for the whole family to enjoy! It may seem like a little thing to some but for us, it means so much.“

“The service was amazing. Our waiter Sophia P. Was attentive and friendly and provided excellent customer service. We were a large group, and she patiently waited for all of us to arrive and got the all the ordering , and with the help of of the other staff delivered our food with preciseness. Not only was she a great waiter , she even took time to take pictures of our group and moved tables around, and made sure we were all visible on the picture. Sophia P. “We dine at this restaurant often, and the food is consistently top notch with impeccable service. Robert, the owner, is very hands-on—always engaging with guests, sharing his knowledge, and even stepping behind the bar to make cocktails. It’s refreshing to see an owner so attentive and involved. We’ve never had a bad meal here, except for this past weekend when my husband ordered the filet. Unfortunately, it wasn’t up to the standard we’ve come to expect—it was rubbery and not edible, but Robert immediately had a new steak prepared and explained that they were testing a new supplier. He genuinely valued our feedback and mentioned that the previous steaks were a big reason we keep coming back. I ordered the whitefish, and it was absolutely superb—perfectly cooked and served over rice with a lemon white wine cream sauce. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. We always sit at the bar and love watching the bartenders craft cocktails. They are personable, friendly, and make the experience even better. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in St. Joseph. Occasional hiccups happen, but the way they’re handled here speaks volumes.“

“I don't understand the negative reviews for this place. My husband and I decided to try it out on our personal time after our work place, Cook Nuclear, got pizza for the night shift and after a co worker suggested some meals for us. We went at 9:00 pm and ordered a 12 inch pizza, 2 half philly cheesesteaks and an order of mozz sticks. The price came out to around $50, which is a tad pricey, but given that this is a family-owned small business, I'll take that any day over Pizza Hut or Domino's. The pizza was fresh and so aesthetically pleasing to look at. The mozz sticks were so fresh and the cheese pull was insane and the amount of sauce they give you is so amazing compared to what other pizza places give you. The sandwiches were amazing and the amount of meat in it was satisfying. The service was amazing as well, the miss who took our order was sweet and offered us menus to look at to order and the wait time was around 30 minutes which isn't bad at all given that everything is made when you order. 10/10, definitely will eat here again.“
