Lovely vineyard with not only a gorgeous indoor space but a beautiful outdoor area with covered and uncovered seating options. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful and Julie especially went out of her way to make us feel welcome. And of course, a variety of wine selections sure to please everyone. We will be back!
I visited French Valley for the first time this past weekend for the “Taste the Passion” event. I attended with a group of 13 other ladies on a getaway weekend. We were blown away by the beautiful location, tasty wine, and excellent hospitality. All of the staff was friendly and helpful, and they served us a very generous sampling of snacks the was by far the favorite of all 10 wineries we visited that weekend. Very cute small, sweet winery on Leelanu. Feels a bit quainter. We went as part of a medium sized group. They did seem to struggle with two groups coming in at the same time, and managing/serving the groups. We also had a bit of a struggle paying. I did like that the gentleman explained the wines and I feel like that is not happening enough anymore as winery scene has become popular.
