The best authentic Mexican food! We've been going to Tony's for years. Great food, great quality and great value for money. Tony is a great guy, too. Love chatting with him when we visit. Definitely a great place to eat in the Tawas area, (and Standish, south of town). Come hungry!
My family and I have eaten here several times, and each time the experience never got better. While the location is wonderful, the food was bland at best, which is something I have never experienced before when eating Mexican. Additionally, the wait time was excessively long, with food being “served” over 40 minutes after being ordered. We will not be back.
Due to the season and location, the mayflies were everywhere, but that didn't stop me from placing an order.
We ordered a lot of food which arrived in approximately 10 minutes.
The food, salsa, and overall experience were pleasant.
Im not from the area, but I look forward to returning soon.
