“We had a funeral luncheon at Shorty's. The manager was very helpful in making the arrangements. We had special requests which were handled expertly. The wait staff was attentive and followed up with the guests to make sure that they had what they wanted. The staff took our worries away as we did not know how many people would come and we were told that they would cook more if we needed it. They packed up leftovers and gave us everything that was left over. We wanted special music and they allowed one of our guests to bring in a speaker and hook it up. We were also allowed to stay beyond the scheduled hours and we appreciated that also.“

“This place is amazing. Had never had it before. They were at my work today and let me tell you what. Talk about a killer lunch. I had the ribs with baked beans and Mac and cheese. Ribs are bomb. The hot sauce that you can get on them, definitely wanna get that. Mac and cheese was very cheesy and wasn’t dry like others. I can’t wait to try more!“

The gentleman who waited on me said their rib sammich was "fall off the bone" tender.....he told the truth. The onion rings were the bomb as well as the deep fried mushrooms. YUM.....!!!!“

“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.“

“My fiancé and I ate here tonight. The food was good however we ordered the cheese fries and they came out with just cheese on them when the menu described bacon on it. I asked our waiter Seth and he said it would be 50 cents for a cup of bacon bits when we have gotten it before. My fiance got the New York strip and like any other time our server has him cut into it he did not. He didn’t have the best attitude and we ate our dinner with empty dishes on the table so there wasn’t much room. Dessert wasn’t mentioned after we were done. We’ve been to this location a few times and never had an issue but tonight was a little disappointing. I would say the food was great but the service could have been better“

The table across from us was absolutely atrociously behaved but Shawna kept her cool and served them kindly and professionally, while also managing all her other tables with grace. Our food was wonderful and our Old Fashioneds and wine were perfect. We had a great time thanks to Shawna. Thanks for dinner!“

Their wings are my favorite, and they’re always perfectly cooked and so meaty! This is our family’s favorite takeout spot, and it’s incredibly reliable and well-prices.“
