When my family stayed in New Buffalo recently we decided to make the drive over to Three Oaks to try the Staymaker. In the end, we ate here twice during our long weekend trip because the food was just so delicious. I have seen signs for this place off Interstate I-94 for years and years, and I finally went to check it out. I don’t know why I waited so long! Everyone traveling on I-94 should stop and check out this spot. Great atmosphere, delicious food, great drinks. It was so cool to check out the distillery and all the awesome things they had for sale. I’ll definitely be back again.

We always make a point to stop at Staymaker during our summer beach trips, and our Labor Day 2026 visit was another good one.
We were greeted right away and seated at a cute table. Jake was our waiter and deserves a shoutout — he introduced himself right away, was really friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome. We never had to ask for much, and he even took a photo of us.
