I placed a simple order for a plain bagel with a very specific request: please put the cream cheese in a separate container. When I picked it up and got home, I realized they had completely forgotten the cream cheese—my only additional item.
Frustrated but understanding, I drove back for a second time. I politely made my way to the front, explained the mistake, and the gentleman handed me the cream cheese. (Yes, I should’ve double-checked at this point—but I didn’t.)
Once again, I got home only to discover they had given me the wrong cream cheese. So I made a third trip back. And instead of owning up to the mistake and fixing it, the moment I raised my voice slightly out of understandable frustration, they threatened to call the cops on me.
Three trips. One simple order. Multiple errors. Zero accountability.
Go to Big Apple Bagel instead—seriously.

We tried the vegan shmear with an everything bagel and Za'atar bagel. Don't forget the pickled onions, yum! Their bagels are very chewy (in a good way), traditional style bagels. They're so delicious and all are vegan except for the parmesan bagel. The vegan shmear is cashew-based, not soy or oat milk. It's very good. We'll definitely be back whenever we're in the area.

Outstanding bagels, salmon, spreads, and salads. I highly recommend the Smorgasbord if you have a crew over for breakfast/brunch. Easily fed 10ppl. Bubbies uses high-quality, fresh ingredients and it shines through in everything they make. This is a must visit if you are in Traverse City and worth the trip if you are passing through.

This place is AMAZING! We have been dying to go here! There is always a line when we have tried in the past so that should say something. We ordered a salt stick with plain cream cheese and The Nosh on Parmesan black pepper! Both were amazing. And the staff, seriously the most friendly and they had big smiles when you walked in. If you worked this morning on 11.16.24 at Bubbie’s thank you for making our morning. We are celebrating our engagement and this was just the beginning of such a wonderful day!

Nicest people I've ever met. Made me feel extremely welcome. I got a plain bagle with light cream cheese. The bagle is always fresh and cream cheese is 10/10. There baked good are spectacular! Honestly if you want top service I strongly recommend bubbie's bagles!

Popped over because Omelette Shoppe was too busy. Best mistake ever! Bagels were fresh, sandwiches were a literal 10/10 (nosh on everything bagel). Coffee was outstanding (black, self described coffee snob). Can't wait to come back!

10/10, delicious, superb, flavorful, “give me 14 of em right now”. Excellent bagel spot! It is the PERFECT bagel. Don’t waste your breakfast space on anything else. Service was great and friendly too.
