I'm not sure my words can do this place justice. I cant tell you everything they have but the sandwiches I get there for lunch are so good they will curl your hair. Just amazing. There isn't another deli like this around. Perfection. I recently took their takeout menu home and I read it sitting up in bed before I go to sleep. lol

My husband ordered the Antipasto supreme sub, I asked them to make me the Antipasto supreme on a salad, without the bread, no dressing. Both absolutely delicious!
The Ruben and Italian combo we had a few weeks ago, also excellent!

I tried the sandwich for the first time yesterday and was blown away! The bread was perfectly fresh, the fillings were flavorful and balanced, and every bite felt warm, hearty, and comforting. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere made it an easy place to relax and enjoy a good meal. I can’t believe I’ve lived in Traverse City for over 10 years and never knew about this gem. This will definitely be my go-to spot for a monthly sandwich fix!

We used Folgarelli's to cater and bartend our wedding, and from start to finish, we were so happy with the entire team. From our tasting to finalizing the details with Scott, and then working with Scott, Laurel, and Sue on the big day—everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely happy to celebrate with us. They were incredibly attentive to every detail and made sure each guest had a great experience.
On top of the amazing service, the food was phenomenal! With such a great variety of options, from appetizers to main dishes, everything was delicious—we couldn’t have been happier.
The best part? They have a storefront downtown, which will forever be a special place for us to stop by and relive the best night ever. Thank you to the entire Folgarelli's team!

I'm from Chicago and I make the trip every single time I'm in Michigan for Folgarellis. As a matter of fact me and my girl have planned an entire trip simply just because the sandwiches here are PERFECT. You cannot say you've had a perfect sandwich until you've had one from Folgarellis. It's that simple and it's that black and white. This place I encountered when I first came to Michigan in 2018 and ever since then I always stop by. The godfather sandwich is THE sandwich. I cannot recommend this place and no matter where I am I'm always going to make the effort to get Folgarellis. Do yourself a favor. Stop reading the reviews and go in and get yourself a sandwich. It's simply perfect.

We transplanted here from Metro-Detroit a couple years ago, after having been coming to area for many years, and I'm here to tell you...Folgarelli's is an institution for a very good reason. Obviously the sandwiches. Pick one, any one, doesn't matter. It will be one of the best you've ever had. BUT....take a peak around the rest of the joint. You'll find a lot of amazing goodies at fair prices. As others have noted....best to call ahead, especially in summer and/or on Fri/Sat.

Here's what we do for a beach outing: a couple sandwiches, bottle of wine (ok, maybe 2 lol), olives, some cheese, and this next part is key....Mitica Taralli. Great snack to throw in the basket. Two varieties here: Fennel and the Original. Grab them both, you won't be sorry. And at the checkout, pick up a couple Pizzelle. Proceed to beach.

Overrated by the locals .it is very casual and deserve a 3 stars. The spinach pie is tasty but the grill was not working .the service is very casual and the place is ok . Do not expect waiters or service.you order and you get your food later . The store is overpriced and items are acceptable but priced high
