We had the pleasure of having Gabe’s Old Fashioned cater our family event, and would highly recommend! Chef Gabe and his team are clearly skilled and executed our intricate menu with ease. The presentation and flavor of his dishes was outstanding, beyond words, absolutely delicious.. We are looking forward to working with him again!
Gabe catered our wedding in August 2025, and did an exceptional job. We were looking for an upscale, farm-to-table meal reflective of northern Michigan classics. Most caterers in the area were not able to accommodate 150+ guests. From the beginning, Gabe was professional and attentive, working with us to envision a menu that was absolutely delicious — crowd pleasing with some unique twists. He is clearly an incredibly talented chef, and really cares about executing unique, restaurant...
Gabe and his staff catered our wedding in Traverse City this past July. His food was a huge hit. I had multiple guests tell me how delicious the dinner and appetizers were. We had a number of requests that he accommodated without hesitation and was generally a very easy and pleasant person to work with. I would highly consider his services when planning a catered event in the Traverse City area.
