We had them do the catering for our rehearsal dinner in Glen Arbor and people from Seattle to New Hampshire raved about how good the Mexican food was. They almost provided too much food for us and the communication was quick and effortless. They also have a lot of Gluten-free and vegetarian options. We have also had the tacos in the restaurant and they were even better than the catered tacos. Do not forget about the churros.
Yum! I got the pescado taco and the carne asada taco. They rotate agua fresca flavors and I got pineapple today. All were very good. The bar looks good too, but I don't drink. It's a small place so I was a little bit cramped. It didn't bother me too much, but to others it might seem uncomfortable squeezing into a tight spot. Very reasonable prices, especially for downtown Traverse City. $5 for a taco cannot be beat. They're small tacos, but to be expected....
My husband and I stopped by Mama Lu's for lunch for the first time end of July. Our server Beatrice took great care of us. We ordered based off the recs we asked her for. The spicy cucumber marg as well as the featured marg with mint were both amazing. We split guac & a side of street corn (off the cob). The Carne Asada & Pescado tacos were yummy. Wish we lived closer to come back more often!
