Mundos West is a really cool location, over looking a small, well-shaded grassy patch of land right by a river. The ambiance inside the coffee shop is relaxing and feels productive. I tried an iced lavender honey matcha with almond milk, but felt that it lacked in flavor (both matcha and lavendar). It seemed like there was too much milk added. Perhaps it was just a bad ratio that day?
This place has nice coffee drinks and excellent croissants. One of the few places left where you can get something for breakfast (not at a drive thru) in TC at 7:00 am.. A bit small if you are going for a chat with a friend but there are a few outdoor seats.
The coffee at Mundos is always great. I got the Cherry Almond Latte which seems to be a popular flavor among the local coffee shops this year. Their version uses cold brew which was nice, the flavoring was not too sweet or overpowering. My husband always prefers pour over from Mundos which is always a treat and it smells delightful.
