The food was delicious here. We ordered the pot roast dinner and then lava cake for dessert. The restaurant was clean and the service was great. Lori was our waitress and she was very friendly and helpful. Definitely will eat here again.
FOOD IS GREAT. SHANNON WAS MY SERVER. SHE DID A WONDERFUL JOB SERVING ME AND WAS VERY PUNCTUAL WITH MY FOOD. CHECKED ON ME CONSTANTLY MADE SURE I WAS SATISFIED. SHES ONE OF THE GREATEST SERVERS IVE HAD THERE. VERY FRIENDLY AND ENJOYS HER JOB TO MAKE THE CUSTOMER HAPPY. FOOD WAS MADE JUST HOW I WANTED! IT DOESN'T GET ANY BETTER!!! FOOD WAS ON TIME. At The Cottage, guests enjoy delicious dishes like liver and onions, meatloaf, Black Cherry Cobbler, banana bread French toast, and omelettes, all made to their liking with good ingredients. The comfort food is excellent, and the service is always fast and friendly. The friendly and attentive staff ensure a pleasant dining experience, with clean and well-spaced tables. The cherry pancakes are to die for, and the biscuits and gravy, hash, and casserole are wonderful. While the place is often busy, it never feels crowded. Some may find the atmosphere simple, but the reasonably priced food and great wait staff make it a favorite spot. The iced tea is excellent. The fresh food and excellent service make it a great place to return to.
