The service is friendly and attentive, with staff going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The food is fantastic, with dishes like the NY Strip, Grouper, and Chocolate Cheesecake receiving high praise. The Ahi appetizer and pizzas are also popular options, with the pizzas being cooked to perfection. Craft cocktails and a wide drink selection are available, with the bar being very well stocked, especially whiskey and bourbon. There is nothing but praise for this restaurant in the greater Traverse City area, attracting both young professionals and mature foodies. The meatballs, croquettes, and dueling dips are great starters. Main courses like the halibut, New York Strip, and Filet Mignon are always spot on, and the wagyu burger is the bomb, as is the Nashville hot chicken. While some dishes may have too much sauce, the overall quality of the food is excellent. The dining experience is awesome, and it is worth it, even if it is a little pricey for the portions. Chef Steve came out and conversed with guests. The Tasting Room is a must do when in Traverse City.
