Visited this place last weekend. It us a very beautiful view of the water. The food was wonderful, the staff was great. I love the color scheme of this place. We will be returning every time we visit Traverse City. This place was recommended by a friend and it was a wonderful experience.

We were a party of five. Our food came out promptly and hot. The Tavern Burger and fries were amazing. The seafood chowder was even better! The side salad was way above average with spring greens and multiclor tomtoes. The wood fire pizza is legit. And when one of us ordered carrot cake for dinner, the server didn't blink an eye!
I’ve been here a few times. Tonight I went for Traverse City restaurant week. My service was good. Food was ok. Definitely not homemade. If you’ve had waygu beef, this waygu is more like Arby’s than the Waygu at the Boathouse. My steak was overcooked but was promptly dealt with by my server. However the replacement wasn’t great either more rare tha medium rare but I accepted it and was disappointed. However even if it was properly cooked it still would have disappointed me, it just not waygu and being honest it’s just not a great steak. I definitely get the tomahawk if I go back.

My husband and I had our date night here and it was absolutely amazing! The food was delicious and so were the drinks! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back! We live about an hour away and it was well worth the drive. This was a more expensive date night than were used to but so so worth it. Lovely place and service!

Had a pretty good experience here.The food is pretty pricey but it tasted really good.Really good selection of appetizers. The wagyu steak with the sauteed mushrooms was fantastic.It was cold and nasty when we went so we really didn't get to experience the best ambiance of the place but sitting inside isn't awful.
