“My boyfriend and I did the barrel room experience and absolutely loved it. You get to try 6 different wines and enjoy a delicious charcuterie board for 35 per person. Our guide was very knowledgeable and attentive. I was impressed by the value of our dollar. The stone walls and relatively small square footage created the perfect cozy and intimate venue for a romantic night out. I will definitely be doing this again.“

“Really pretty view overall, you can see a winding road and the lake behind. Their cherry wine is very good too. Had ordered different flights, all very good. Riesling, cherry rose’, etc. Cracker with cheese dip was fine. Cracker was full of seeds, which tasted really good.“

Personally, it was my first time there, and I was not disappointed. The decor and view from the building was fantastic. Terri took great care of us, and also shared some great wine knowledge. She had such an inviting personality and made my experience great. If you have the chance to go, make sure you ask for Terri.

I had a flight of wines, carefully crafted and recommended to my personal taste. I tried the 2023 Crisp Sparkling, 2022 Riesling - Fernweh Vineyard, 2023 Rose of Pinot Gris, and 2023 Late Harvest Riesling. All of the wines I sampled were exceptional in taste.

We also shared a charcuterie board which paired nicely with our selections of wine.

“We have been winetasting up in the Traverse City area for 25 years. Château grand Traverse never disappoints! They have the best wines, both white and red, especially for the price point! We just joined their wine club and can’t wait to have their amazing wines shipped to us downstate. You gotta check them out!“

“I participated in Vino-Madness along the Leelanau Wine Trail and had a really good time! For $25.00 a person, we sampled wine and food pairings at 8 of the maybe 15 or so wineries along the trail over the course of 2 days. It was a really neat event, and a fun way to experience the wineries for a reasonable price. Each of the wineries was very welcoming and we walked away with several bottles of wine that we probably would not have normally tried and saw some beautiful wineries. I would love to come back again for another event and highly recommended it to any wine lover!“

“Had a wine flight and also a couple of spirits. I really enjoyed the wines (mostly Riesling). The apple maple brandy warmed my soul; the honey brandy had a hint of sweetness then burned the rest of the way down.
