We arrived on time and were seated immediately. Then, the fun started. By that, I mean Amanda promptly took our order for prosciutto wrapped mozzarella and a bottle of Cabernet. For the entrée, we enjoyed the Seabass, which was prepared perfectly and on a bed of Parmesan risotto, as requested.
this is such a lovely place! our waiter, Jason, was very kind and attentive to our wants and needs. the food was very good. we ordered calamari to start, and for dinner: bone-in steaks, potatoes au gratin, asparagus, and sautéed mushrooms. I will say that the asparagus was a little overdone for my preference, but my dinner guest enjoyed it. overall, this is one of my new favorite places!
A classic steak staple that has never disappointed, though it seems its flavors have lost some nuance. Had a wonderful time celebrating our anniversary and enjoying the Generous Pour. The J Pinot Noir remained my favorite, although the other reds were not really in the same class. The whites and rose were all wonderful and unique in their profile and I hope to find them at retail.
