Perfect date spot for your nerdy girlfriend. This cafe has a cozy coffee house vibe. Soufle pancakes are what you order for her - worth the 30min cooking time. Takoyaki was so much fun.

Sushi rolls were very well thought out, flavors balanced and layered but kept the high quality fish as the primary flavor. I was seriously impressed with the sushi rolls. 5 out of 5 stars.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hidden gem. Great place for brunch. Omg their soufflés and waffles are amazing for those with sweet tooth. They do have a bunch of savory selection as well. Huge drink menu as well. Service is good- mostly self serve. Not a fancy but decent brunch place to hit with family. Would definitely be going back.

I came to Umai Café in Troy for my birthday because I really wanted to try their soufflé pancakes — and they did not disappoint! They were light, fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also tried the sando, which was just as good — flavorful and satisfying.

The café itself has such a cozy, welcoming vibe, and the staff were very kind. The only small hiccup was that the posted hours said they open at 11:30, but they didn’t open until 12:00, so keep that...
