“Wow! I can't believe the negative comments! I have never had any issues at this place. The staff and managers are very friendly and helpful. Come on people, give these kids a break , they don't get paid nearly enough , they're understaffed and overworked. Have some grace , be kind , it's Taco Bell, not a pricey upscale restaurant. All of us are all doing the best we can do , just trying to make a living. Thank you. 🙏🏻

“We ate here to celebrate a birthday November of 2024. Everyone received their food quickly, enjoyed their entrees, margs and the chips and salsa. The most amazing tasty item was an appetizer of elote corn dip. I could just eat nothing else and be perfectly happy. 😊. Definitely give this restaurant a try. And btw, I’m from the Southwest: nothing was spicy but everything was delicious!“

“Delicious and flavorful food. Friendly staff. Mexican style/street tacos flare. Positive energy vibe, plenty of seating available. I had the California burrito and asked to add cilantro and had no issues, in fact the person taking the order loaded me up with additional toppings and sauces that the burrito was filling enough for 2 meals. Also had the trio sampler (guacamole, cheese, salsa) with chips. Very filling. Great flavor profile. Will definitely be adding this to my list to return again.“

“My family has lived at Hopsital and Cooley Lake for 2 years and never tried GJ because the outside didn't look like much. We figured it was another Coney place. Boy, we're we wrong! we have gone twice this week. The food is great and the service is outstanding. We found our new place to eat!!“

“Best "any reason" stop! Lunch? Need a date night stop? Kids need a treat? Mexican food, bubble tea and ice cream- they have it all.

Mexican Food: I had the tacos. Made to order, fair price and FABULOUS!!!! You have to stop in just for tacos, nachos, quesadillas, bowls. The steak is perfecto.

Bubble Tea: unexpected surprise. Great flavor options. My daughter had the strawberry smoothie with mango popping bubbles. She liked it. I have the traditional milk tea with tapioca pearls. Very delicious. The milk tea was on the sweet side (I tend to like less sugar taste). Boba was perfectly cooked.

Ice Cream: didn't try it this time but they had eight or more different soft serve flavors with a whole bunch of fresh-looking toppings. Lots of flavors.

Overall this place is a must stop. Doesn't look much from the outside but well worth to check it out. It is very very clean and the staff was extremely personable.

“You come here for Tacos! They are the best they have the common Mexican ones like beef tongue, head, loins, pork carnitas, birria and much more!We def loved the Tongue tacos and the shrimp fajitas i got were delicious, the lime chia water was slightly sweet and fresh.Waiter was rly quick and kind!You can buy real yummy mexican candy for good prices, they sell meat there too and other mexican groceries.We will def be back for Tacos!

Parking: Parking place is def not big but we went there in the weekend afternoon and it was ok.“

“Every time we go to eat we are never disappointed! Food is fast, full of flavor, and the employees that work there are kind and always good for a laugh. They remember my husband and I, and my daughter will try the new food we order because it's all delicious. PLUS... It never breaks the bank, everything is reasonably priced. We will be back for more!“

“The food was amazing! The only thing I didn't prefer was the queso dip. It was very watery, and lacking flavor. It was very cheesy tasting though which was nice. I got the enchiladas with green sauce and OH BOY it was good.
The waitress though seemed like either she didn't like her job, or just didn't care. My friend asked if the taco shell could be subbed for a flour one (since it was corn) and the waitress paused for what seemed like an eternity to answer and said "eh, let me check".
All in all, I would come back for takeout or something of that nature, but go somewhere else for a dine in experience.

Vegetarian options: They really only had the side dishes like rice and beans, guacamole, and queso dip for vegetarians. I'm sure you could ask for it to be taken off but the waitress and cook might throw a fit.“

“I've been going here with a group of friends for a several years now and it's become a tradition that I would never want to quit! The food is delicious and the staff is AMAZING (shout out to Miguel, Raul, Seira, Angelica, Crystal and anyone else I've missed --- LOVE you all!) Some of my go-to faves: shrimp tacos, anything with beef cheek (quesadillas, tacos, etc.), taco salad, fajitas (the meal that ends up being 2-3) and anything from the bar :D I'd also like to take a moment to really commend the staff & owners: ever since COVID started, it's been extremely tough for most every restaurant to obtain/keep their staff. I know there may be times Alchile can get really busy (as there are a lot of us that go regularly) and there may be times you may have to wait longer than you'd like to get a seat (or your food/drink) but know that the staff works really hard & truly cares about each customer and you will NOT be disappointed! They are well worth the wait“

“Our family stopped In there today to try for the first time. We had 2 Large steak burritos, 1 veggie burrito bowl and 2 churros. Food was amazingly good. The establishment was clean. The staff was friendly. All the food options looked and tasted fresh. Churros rocked. Heck I might stop in just for those alone. “I had a burrito that I had requested in a bowl. Thank goodness, IT WAS HUGE! They did the most unique thing and thoroughly mixed all the ingredients in the tortilla before folding it up. That way you get all the wonderful flavors in every bite. I've never seen this done before, but will forever eat my burritos this way!!!!!
