“Pine Squirrel was recommended to use by the Business Manager at Jim Weirnig. It did not disappoint. My pizza was cheesy and delicious. My husband had a specialty Sloppy Burger that he enjoyed. You have choice of chips or potato salad and he chose the potato salad and said it was very good. The service was amazing and it did not take long to get our food. We give this a 10 out of 10 ranking and highly recommend it.”

“We’ve just had a delicious dinner here at Inn the Woods. Excellent salmon, pretzel bites and the spinach artichoke dip for apps, plus an incredible French Dip sandwich. “My mom and I were just in to eat dinner on the 4th around 6:30pm we had the prime rib which was absolutely delicious. The appetizer was delicious and the drinks were ice cold. The highlight of it all was our server Sarah, she was very nice and her customer service was impeccable. we will definitely be back just from her service alone.”

“Love their ice cream! Friendly staff and on Fridays they have .99 cent kids ice cream cones. Big selection of ice cream flavors. Seating available inside and maybe a picnic table or two outside.”

“We attended a very small wedding reception at Tavern Inn the Woods last weekend and it was very nice. The food was good, the private room was beautiful, the servers were professional, and the bar was fully stocked with a pleasant and competent bartender... and she made me a tasty 'adult' coffee, which I needed in the cold weather! 😉”

“We stopped in for an early dinner while visiting the area. I was really looking forward to some potatoe soup and was disappointed to hear they had just ran out before we got there. I, on a whim, ordered the mushroom soup. Their mushroom soup was THE BEST soup I've ever had. It was so good that we will be making the 4 hour trip to eat it again next week.”

“Great Food, but eating area is not as nice as it was years ago. Pop machine has been down for a while. You have to buy cans of Pop at $2.25 each. Prices are way higher than our Mancino's in Midland, MI ... Food quality is Always Worth stopping for.”
