“Great place! We stop any time we’re in the area. For the reviewer that said they weren’t open and gave one star, it’s a small family owned business for 3 generations and everyone needs time off now and then. For the comment about it being small and crowded, those are a few or the many things that give this place its charm. Great food, cold beer and a place to warm up by the iconic barrel stove. Sue and Greg (owners) always greet with a smile and their staff is friendly. I hope this place stays open for year and years to come.“

“Lydia was the best. Exactly the way a dive bartender should be. All the gold stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Food from the restaurant was awesome and we had a blast talking with wild bill. He must be a regular. Gave us all the tips and tricks about where to stop for food and things we forgot.We stopped at two other restaurants on the way to Lake Superior and they were closed. Third times a charm. Lucky us!!!“

“Drove up from Chicago and checked into the Bel Air Hotel down the street. Took a short walk down the street in the middle of a blizzard and found this place open. Very welcoming bartender made us feel at home and kept us from being thirsty the rest of the night. Will definitely be stopping there again this year to have a few after we park the car at the hotel.“

“We love getting food from Dawson’s Pier. I studied abroad in Nepal and their food takes me back! Everything is so authentic and you can tell it’s freshly made. Also, the employees are so kind and friendly. We enjoy eating in and getting take-out, and either way you receive large portions! I’d highly recommend stopping in if you want to eat new and yummy food!“

“I've trekked out for the Friday night fish fry a number of times. A little greasy, but damn tasty & always cooked to perfection. Nice tender & flaky meat with a greasy crunchy coating. I plan to try a 1/2 pound burger on my next visit. They look & smell quite tasty. The staff is always friendly & attentive. the restaurant looks & smells clean & cared for. Tip your bar staff well!“

“Convieniently located on the main drag of busseling downtown Land O Lakes. Cool little bar in a cool little town. Decent food and staff!! Parking on the side or on the street. A few games for the kids to play while waiting for food or watching part of a gameParking: There is more than enough parking and easily accessible for elderly/handicappedKid-friendliness: There are a few games to play and kiddie cocktails for daysWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchairs are no problem here. Roll in off the street and pick a table or 1 end of the bar is only table height, so either way it would work easily.“

“Super cute place. Good food, great service, a nice salad bar. We went there for Friday Night Fish Fry. Got there at 4:45 for the end of their cocktail hour. Nice discounts on beverages and dinner. One of the better Fish Fry options in our dining area on Friday night. Regular menu and daily specials all look good. We will definitely be going back.“
