This is probably the best bagel place in Michigan. When I was growing up, it was New York and Detroit in a tie, but Detroit is long gone. If you're lucky enough to get them when they first come out of the oven, you'll be heaven. The poppy seeds on the salt bagels is what gives them that unique and amazing flavor. My husband loves bagel and New York Bagel is one of his favorite bagels. Even Im not a big fan of bagel but I have nothing but good things to say. The prices are reasonable, the bagel is always fresh and the service was great. The truffle hashbrowns are a really interesting addition to breakfast. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for bagels and delicious breakfast.

The young gentleman who assisted me was absolutely delightful in spirit and service. Although they were closing in 5 minutes, he was helpful, kind, and gracious.
