Wasn't exactly sure about this selection, my first thought was "is this Italian meets Deep South"? How would that work? Well it worked just fine. This place has an open floor plan with a decent amount of window seating. Parking is available on side streets and along Michigan Avenue, on a weekday it wasn't a problem. A friend and I came here for dinner because we were attending an event in the basement space. We arrived about 5:30 on a weeknight and we were the first people there. We were actually in Ypsilanti for Hyperion Coffee but decided to have brunch first. Chose this place because it has table service and a good vibe. So glad we did! BF had the breakfast sandwich and I had the bacon frittata. Mine came with a lovely salad dressed in vinaigrette and both came with fruit. Top notch all the way!
