Nice atmosphere. Mid pizzas but good service.
The bartender was great and the drinks and food were really good. They also have pool, darts, and cards?! That's my kind of place right there hell yeah
5 stars because Chloe is such a great bartender I forgot they got rid of shuffleboard tables

Pool tables, darts, pinball. Cheap drinks. Trivia night, karaoke 2x a week
Update two weeks later: it continues. after actually being told by a manager that they would be open this monday, my friends and i made the trip and were turned away, again.
OG review: folks! if you're going to close the place every Monday now without warning, can you at least just change your hours to reflect it? this is the 3rd/4th time my friends have made the trip only to find the place closed :( we're trying really hard to make this the new Ypsi Pinball spot but you're not making it easy.

Local here. Live a few blocks away and Sticks is an awesome alternative for a low key night. I personally get anxiety in busy bars…especially out in Ann Arbor on the weekends.
But Sticks always seems to have a decent amount of people but manageable and maneuverable even on the weekends. Good food downstairs at Aubree’s and consistently good service. Pool and darts is a must as well as karaoke night. Outdoor patio is nice and well maintained.
Only complaint might be the wait time for the pool tables. NOTE: there is a sign up sheet at the bar and the bartenders will call out in order. Make sure to let them know where you are and you might have to keep track of table time. Single games if busy are supposed to be 1.5 hours for $15. If the bartenders like you, you might get an extra 20-30 min and maybe a free pool session.
All in all. Super solid place to go for a fun night without the drunkenness of the college students in Ann Arbor. Melanie is the main bartender and will take care of you as long as you’re not being an ass hole. Tip your bartenders people!
Thanks!

If you just wanna play pool, this is way more expensive than any other place in town. $10ish an hour instead of $1-1.50 a game. Only got 2 games in in that time.
The pool tables are regulation size instead of bar size, but still.
Although calling themselves a pool bar, there are only 3 tables and they don’t have time limits so we were very disappointed in the pool aspect as we didn’t get to play in our few hours there. However, they had a great patio, cold beer, good prices, and good looking food from downstairs Aubree’s restaraunt so it wasn’t the worst time.

Man, I wanted to love this place: great patio, cold beer. But for a bar branded around billiards, I can't rate it any higher due to the fact that they don't have many tables and it takes up to 2-4 hours to turn them over, due to them not having time limits.
Restaurantji Recommends

Maybe you should meet me in the 'Sticks. Closing time exactly 9:06. (Very specific?)?
Went in a week ago and opened a tab at the bar. Went to close the tab at the end of the night and they lost my debit card. Gave them my name and number but no follow up has been received. Pretty mind boggling how they can lose my card when they have it for my tab, mistakes happen but no effort has been made to make up for that big mistake.
