OMG!! "Andy" made the BEST drink I've EVER had!!! The Whiskey Sour and Tequila Sour...I dream about them!! I can't wait to go back and drink ANY of Andy's AMAZING LIQUID ARTISTRY!!Do yourself a favor and have a drink at Wax Bar!!!

Andy and Morgan both did a wonderful job, the atmosphere of this place is absolutely gorgeous, a blend of shadowy bellow and old lighted signs. standard Piná Colada is absolutely incredible. Will be coming back.

The new owner is cool, but the other girl behind the bar (not his partner shes cool af) is not great, and this is not the only time ive had a problem with her. Came in just now, ordered a boulevardier and she immediately walked away- not giving me a chance to say anything let alone which bourbon i wanted, and i tried to get her attention to ask for antico (which I 100% dont mind paying more for) but she either didnt hear me or ignored me and added punt e mes (which I despise) and slid it over. I dont want to give one star because the place is cool.

Fun little hole in the wall bar with great cocktails. Normally when I'm at a place like this, I expect service that is a little aloof and "too cool" for customers.The bartender was very welcoming and kind, I definitely look forward to coming back here.

The best bar in Ann Arbor is actually here at WaxBar in Ypsilanti. If you liked the old tiki bar vibe you won’t miss out, but now they’ll make you anything else you can imagine and it’ll be better than what you’ll get elsewhere because Andy and Morgan are alchemists with your best interests in mind. Wonderful place! Don’t miss it!

Andy is, by far, the best bartender this side of the Huron River. Sociable, inviting, inventive, and can curate a cocktail list like no other.The atmosphere is comfortable and cozy, you can make friends easily or curl up together on the retro couch and have your own moment.This is my new staple bar in Ypsi, and as a restaurant worker, it’s so nice to see one of our own doing the thang, owning their own bar, and I’m incredibly happy to support this talented and tasty bar!

$14 cocktails during happy hour you get $2 off cocktails. Very creative cocktails but slightly over priced. A few beer options and wine. Staff are very kind and welcoming! The bar sells vinyl and has comfy seat options. No food sold

WaxBar rules. Went for the first time yesterday and it was great. Very friendly/knowledgable staff, and fantastic drinks. One of the best daiquiris I've ever had. Can't wait to go back.

Best spot in Depot Town for drinks by a country mile. Cocktails can be pricey, but they are well worth it and very reasonable beer prices. Great creativity and appreciation for the art of the cocktail. I'm telling you, this is THE gem of Ypsilanti. Treat yourself. Great vibes, great service (especially Anna). Pick yourself up some vinyl while you're there.
