“We enjoyed ourselves golfing here the first time ever. The course was in decent condition. It's not a "five" because some of the hole arrangements, I felt, were oddly designed. We partnered with two local golfers who were a real joy...that rounded out a great day.“

“Went there as a kid and decided to revisit the place as an adult. Went for my 9th birthday and my 31st. Revisiting this place as an adult was sort of like trying to crawl back into a bouncy castle but this time as an adult. I remembered it being bigger and much more impressive but the point is that it left such an impression on little me that I remembered it 20+ years.This place is unique and fun. It's got a groovy, quirky atmosphere and feels like it should be featured on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives. There's a bar and grill, as promised by the name. I spent most of my time checking out the decor and only a little bit of time playing the games. We went on a Saturday and it was fairly crowded with the traditional 9 year old birthdays.The food was adequate. My build your own pizza was better than my partner's rather bland Mac and Cheese pizza offering. And the "Alien Ears" (powdered sugar desert) were a fun and special little surprise that I'm glad we indulged in. I was surprised to see gluten free offerings on the menu.The games are your typical arcade offerings. I didn't feel particularly scammed by any of them. I know what arcade games are and they did have some skill games that were more focused on offering a fun experience rather than the thrill of realizing a claw machine is rigged.Staff was amazingly helpful, upbeat and chipper. They seemed to genuinely care when I had an issue getting quarters for the machines in the lobby, separate from the arcade.Overall, if you never miss your local county fair when it comes to town or are a frequent guest at the State Fair and you don't mind an "out of this world" paint job over the same vibes, this should help tide you over even in the dead of winter until you and your family can get back on those tea cup rides.“
“Food was Very good. The Reuben pizza was a great appetizer in small size! The Meat loaf sandwich was very good with alittle bit of bit to it. And the Burger was a 7/10 easy. The only complaint...is There didn't seem to be enough servers in our area. Therefore not giving the server ample time to make the experience more personable. Was told 1 hr* waited about 1 hr 30 mins. It was a Friday night I'll give them that. The food was that good. We will stop in again soon!“

“This is another gem I found by accident. My wife & I have only been here twice, & each visit was really really outstanding! We both pegged this our new favorite restaurant. There aren't a whole lot of great restaurants where we live now, so finding this place was, & is a real treat! There's so many delicious dishes here to choose from, but ya definitely gotta try the Pub Chips! So yummy! There are so many other dishes to choose from. Good luck deciding on what to get! Some awesome chocolate cake & carrot cake as well.Parking: A large parking lot.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of food for kids, & a small game area with a pool table, darts, & a couple other games.Wheelchair accessibility: A ramp at the front entrance curb, & big doors to get through. “I just started cooking here. I've been a career line cook and restaurant manager for nearly 20 years and this is the cleanest kitchen I've ever seen. I've tried burgers I never would have even considered and every one has been delicious.Also the first kitchen I've cooked in that has no animosity between FoH & BoH. At all. “Haven't been here in YEARS! Stopped for bloodies on a Sun. With freezing temps & the time of day, the place was close to empty. Bartender was so friendly, as were the other patrons & pulltab person. The bloodies were good & it was a great way to spend the afternoon!“

“We love McPete's! We have been bringing our grandson, AJ, here for bowling and minigolf for about 2 years. We are usually here at least one day a week. Everyone has been so kind and encouraging to AJ and he really feels at home here. He loves bowling and is now on the junior bowling league. Special thanks to Fred, Eric, Larry and Chad.We have eaten here many times also. The food is great! The chicken taco salad is the best I have had anywhere. I had a salad and unlike other places, it was well seasoned, the flavors were balanced and it was not drowning in house ranch. It's been a long time since I've had such a delicious salad at a restaurant. If you go, you have to try a blackberry lemon drop. They're absolutely dangerous!“
