“A childhood core memory that just keeps getting better. From 1919 in the Frosty mug, the train cruising around the bar area, and the fish tanks, going to Dave's has always been one of my favorite things to do on a Friday or Saturday night.Coming back to town for Christmas, Dave's was a natural choice, and man, oh man, it was like I was a kid again. One of the few restaurants in the area I recommend to friends when I find out they're visiting my hometown.Dietary restrictions: Peanut- allergy friendly“

“Been coming here for awhile now and it’s probably the one restaurant in the area that’s consistent with food, service, and atmosphere. We enjoy the shrimp tacos, French dip sandwich, the chicken Caesar wrap, loaded river rounds and the burgers (miss the burger buffet!) Our server tonight was Brooke and she was fabulous. Will be back as always.“
“The Ugly Bar does not disappoint it's reputation. A Saga IPA and great cocktails, dancing a possibility, definitely enjoyed great music by the DJ. Everyone from every corner of Wright county are here letting go of the week. Easy to ride snowmobile there to the trails and back“
“Haven't been here in YEARS! Stopped for bloodies on a Sun. With freezing temps & the time of day, the place was close to empty. Bartender was so friendly, as were the other patrons & pulltab person. The bloodies were good & it was a great way to spend the afternoon!“

“Stopped on Friday evening 2 weeks ago. Was not initially on my radar, but well worth a couple of extra turns away from Main St. Really nice setting, kind and courteous service. On paper, I ordered a burger and vegetable plate. The actual food I was delivered was so much more...a wonderful surprise addition to my Friday evening trip.“
“Nestled in the heart of downtown St Boni, The Crossbar is the epitome of a classic dive bar. With its dimly lit interior, friendly atmosphere, and a solid selection of drinks, it's the perfect spot to unwind after a long day. The no-frills vibe and affordable prices make it a favorite among locals. Whether you're looking for a cold beer, a game of Foosball, or just a laid-back evening, The Crossbar has you covered.“

“COZY AMERICAN DIVE-BAR EXPERIENCE AWARD ?BEST PIZZA IN TWIN CITIES AWARD ?OFF THE BEATEN PATH AWARD ?Arguably the best pizza this reviewer has ever had, outpacing even St Paul Italian pizzerias. If you want to take a quiet & quaint day trip out to the western suburbs of Minneapolis to the tiny town of St Bonifacius Minnesota for pizza, make SURE you make ‘Grumpys On Main’ your destination.Stopped by Saturday March 2nd 2023 about 2:30 pm after a day of shopping nearby. We knew what we wanted, but it’d been a while since we’d been in.The moment you pull up you realize you’re taking a step back in time as this bar/restaurant has many of its original features for your eyes to behold. Creaking floors and doors and a long wooden bar with window cut-outs showing the other non-barstool side of the place greet you on arrival. There is an outdoor fenced-in seating area with tables. Numerous large flatscreen TVs adorn the walls, each tuned to a different sports event. No need for dressy garb here. Regulars and old-timers at the bar will stretch their necks and stare to see ‘who walked in’ and soon as they find they don’t know you, they turn back to their tap beer & buddy conversations. Good selection of beer on tap and bottled beer, and spirits as well.We ordered a large pizza and a couple beers. Pepperoni, ham and green pepper. Nichole was our bartender and Alicia was our pizza server. They were both prompt and courteous.THE PIZZA IS DOWNRIGHT AMAZING. There’s so much fresh cheese melted on it that you’ll need napkins immediately. It is not greasy at all. Crust was medium thin and perfectly baked. Everything tasted fresh and ingredients were flavorful, the pizza’s red sauce was robust and no too tangy, just right. Once you take your first bite you’re hooked for good.Supplied at the non-assuming bar tables are grated Parmesan and red pepper flakes in restaurant glass shaker bottles, salt & pepper, plastic forks and small paper plates. There is no server on duty so you’ll need to communicate directly with the bartender for all orders. It was easy to speak to her between the window cutouts from our table. Other tables away from the cutouts will require you to walk to the bar for your orders. As with most things good, there was a wait time while our pizza was made, then cooked. It took about 15 minutes to receive our piping hot gooey cheesy pizza. We dug in immediately, and you know that OMG feeling you get when you taste something amazing? …well this was it.Two very cold beers rounded out the meal. It couldn’t have been any more the perfect American dive bar pizza experience.Highly recommended !Best Pizza Ever“

“One of best kept foodie secrets in the state of Minnesota! I can't say enough positive things about McGarry's Pub. The food is outstanding, the atmosphere is perfect (especially the back dinning area with the oversized booths and wooden floor), everything is made fresh from scratch and you can order most of the delicacies to take home (loafs of their delicious dark bread, containers of their made from scratch salad dressings, containers of their side dishes, etc). If you haven't tried McGarry's yet, don't even hesitate!“
“Pretty fun, its a smaller place so when it gets busy it can be crowded. Never had an issue with service. Was in their 1 time it was so busy there was only 1 place to sit. Even though the bartender’s where very busy they still gave me great service!Wheelchair accessibility: it is wheelchair accessible, however the ramp to get in is pretty steep and narrow“

“The Thirsty Buffalo is known for its hamburgers with handmade patties and large chicken wings. This place definitely has a local vibe. Our waitress, Emily, definitely has pride in the establishment. They do many things to fundraise for the local Buffalo Youth Hockey. We ordered the Keggers to start. These are large tater tots stuffed with bacon and cheese, and served piping hot. Delicious! My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich. The sauerkraut is made local and the sandwich was scrumptious. I had their homemade chili topped with cheese, sour cream, chives, and a side of cornbread. It came with honey butter that had a hint of cinnamon and vanilla. The atmosphere is full of the local spirit. They were selling raffle tickets for meat, had pull tabs, and bingo. Look on their website and Facebook for what is happening. Skip the chains and enjoy this local spot with great food and attitude that can't be beat.“

“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!“

“Make sure you understand how long it takes to get one of these deep dish pizzas, but having said that, it's totally worth it. Best Detroit style around. Usually I have to drive much further to get something this good.Other food was great too, no complaints but that Detroit style pizza is where it's at.“

“Mill Creek is a nice bar and grill with a good variety of offerings for your meal. With regular specials there's something new to try along with the standard menu. The prime rib they have on special every once in a while is quite good. Their special Bloody Mary is good (although I think they only serve them on the weekends). Depending on how busy they are, seating can be a bit cozy, but still enjoyable. There's a pretty big parking lot, so that's usually not an issue. Service is usually quick and pleasant.“

“This is our favorite spot in town for burgers! The jalapeño popper burger is amazing every time. The tater kegs are a delicious appetite with the best homemade sauce. If you’re looking for a no frills spot for a great burger, this is it!“

“We had a delicious meal - a salad with apples, chicken, bacon etc. Chicken was nicely cooked. Salad was beautifully plated and the ingredients were very well balanced. My husband had a steak sandwich and fries from the specials menus, which he said was also great. We "shared" a coffee creme brulee for dessert which was amazing.“
