“great food and great service“

“Listen, this is Subway, not a Michelin star restaurant.... with that in mind, I'm giving them 5 stars. I can't eat dairy, and Subway has always been my go-to place to stop when traveling because I can see what's in my food as they prepare it. A couple years ago I had 2 bad subway stops in a row... ingredients all mixed up in the prep containers... giving me cheese bread instead of multi grain. Anyway, this Subway in Alexandria was very clean and sorted behind the counter. The ingredients were ice cold and nothing was touching. After every sandwich made, the worker wiped off the prep surface. Kuddos to the manager for training the staff well... or at least the guy working at lunch this afternoon.“

“The food and service have always been great for me. The inside and outside are a bit wonky. The back lot has NO handicap accessible entry and all the entry doors are manual. Inside has a ramp going up to the food prep area, but steps going down to the seating area. The store is kept clean.“

“I have always enjoyed eating at Subway and have never had a reason to complain. Unfortunately, my experience today was completely unacceptable.

When we arrived, there was only one customer being served. Before we could even approach the counter, a male employee told us to come back at 3:45 a.m., even though it was only 3:28 a.m.

I politely asked why we had to wait. The employee replied that he was serving a customer wearing a UPS uniform because he was a truck driver and that he was “doing him a favor.”

I responded by asking, “Then what am I?” I am also a professional truck driver and deserve to be treated with the same respect as any other customer.

Instead of providing an explanation, the employee rudely replied, “Goodbye,” and refused to serve us.

The way this situation was handled made me feel humiliated and unwelcome. It gave me the impression that customers were being treated differently based on personal preference, and I could not help but question whether discrimination played a role in how we were treated.

No customer should ever leave a restaurant feeling disrespected or treated unfairly. I respectfully ask Subway to investigate this incident, review any available security camera footage, and take appropriate action to ensure that every customer is treated with professionalism, dignity, and respect.

I hope this matter will be taken seriously so that no one else has a similar experience.“

“I have to say I've had the absolute pleasure of working for this specific store. I'm a college student pursuing a human services AAS degree and of course, I needed a job! The employment process was quick and simple, and the interviewer -- Reagan! -- was very interactive. The environment was overall productive, except for my last month it became a little hostile, especially on nights. My experience, customer service, and overall performance working here earned me a spot as a shift leader for Subway South -- where Wal-Mart is just around the corner. I appreciate the overall experience I've had here, so this store has a special place in ny heart.“
