Rita’s Italian ice in apple valley is the absolute best in Minnesota. Their treats are always delicious and the staff are always so friendly. The owner Julia is so kind and friendly. She is very communicative and is always willing to make our requested flavors for us. She is the best. The water ice is just like it is in Pennsylvania and it is always a wonderful treat for us. The owner Julia is amazing. She is super friendly and always willing to make a flavor you want. We drive 1 1/2 hrs to go there. So 3 hr round trip. She makes you feel warm and welcomed. Rita’s water ice is awesome. Mint Chocolate Chip cream ice is my favorite. Mint chocolate chip with vanilla custard Gelati is the best ! Coming from Pennsylvania this is a home town favorite water ice place and the Apple Valley MN location is just amazing! Always super friendly.
