I was looking through our online checking account, and I saw all these charges for Little Me and I told my husband I thought our account had been hacked. He looked at the charges and told me it was The Little Mermaid Cafe in Askov. The…what? The restaurant is in a building that used to be a school and also houses the town’s history museum. We just had breakfast with two friends. All of our meals were delicious. Great home style cooking and super great prices, especially for today. The staff is super friendly and kind and they are very generous with the coffee. We will definitely be back to eat when we are in the area. Love the haystack breakfast!

This restraunt is run by the Pine County Historical Society. When you walk into the old school, it is straightforward. The Society turned the old cafeteria into the restraunt. They did some decorating to transform the space into the restraunt. They are open for breakfast and lunch. We had lunch and were very happy with our food.It's nice to see a building like this converted into useful space.
