“The food, drinks and service were very good. Everything was quick and done right. The 8th of us would recommend everyone to dine at Grizzly's.There was only one disappointment, I had the fish, and the waffle fries were broken crumbs. Made me think it was the bottom of a frozen bag. That wasn't nice, not terrible.“
“I didn't eat, but met some friends here! Bar was very clean and gives the small town bar feel. There was not a lott of clutter, which was nice! Staff was friendly! Outside isn't much to look at, but when you walk in, its like walking into an updated, old-school bar! Very neat environment! They also have a nice outside patio area, which is private! I Will check them out again! 5 Stars.“
“I really feel that this could be a five-star place. Their outdoor seating was nice. Bugs were a little bad but that can't be me. Blamed on the business. However, this was a cash only place. Now I do understand but they have an ATM on site. However, for those that only carry a credit card to take out $40 cash will cost $30 in fees.I have no issues with companies charging me to use my card if that is the method I choose to pay.Otherwise the drinks were cold and good. And the server coming around for a drink orders was friendly. For those looking for food. They have only pizza.Vegetarian options: They did not have foodParking: We had to park in the back of the building. Was limited spots.Wheelchair accessibility: In the back patio there is a giant gate to get in so very accessible.“

“Excellent food and service. Order the pretzel bucket app, Swedish Goat Burger, Lobster Bisque soup, salads, and Saturday Prime Rib special. SKIP the Greenie drinks. We had a late dinner so it was too dark to enjoy the lake view scenery, but the interior decor was okay - definitely a cabin vibe. Our daughter's basketball team was there for a weekend tournament so we had a very rowdy and large group of 36. Not only did our waitresses flawlessly take our orders, serve our drinks, apps, soups, salads and entrees timely, but she also figured out our separate checks per family despite the fact that the team sat separate from the parents. She deserved that big tip! Here's what we tried: Soft Pretzel Bucket (4/5) $16 HUGE bucket shared by the entire table of 36. Great pretzels and cheese sauce. Didn't try the mustard sauce but I wished for a bit more salt. Swedish Goat Burger (5/5) $17 This sucker lasted me 3 delicious meals! A must try if you like goat cheese and lingonberries (like small cranberries). The caramelized onions and large bacon strips made the burger perfect IMHO. Lobster Bisque Soup (4/5) $4 very flavorful, filling, rich and creamy. I had no detectable slivers of lobster though. Saturday Prime Rib special (5/5) $29 for the large 16 oz portion. Best meal at the table. Everyone's steaks were cooked to order perfectly. The side salad was LARGE and fresh. 3 at our table ordered the Greenie drink since we heard it was their drink specialty. I could feel the alcohol but couldn't taste it. Good lemon-lime flavor but it was SO sweet, it gave us tummy aches. None of us finished the Greenies and we all switched to other drinks. Our daughter and her friend shared the chicken strip bucket and the classic burger. She said both were good but nothing special.“

“Not only is the vibe and atmosphere amazing but the food is wonderful! The service is also great even when they are busy! In my opinion this is best restaurant in the brainerd lakes area and only one my husband and I will go to for date night! 10/10 recommends!“

“Honestly I have not had a better burger in the brainerd area. I try! My fav past time is a great drink and some great food. I feel like my opinion could possibly mean something because lived in Minneapolis for over 10 years and worked at a multi award nominated burger restaurant for like 8 years. I mean it’s cheaper and better than any burger restaurants in brainerd. I love the staff, I love the entertainment. always say this is my favorite bar in brainerd. Truly I used to have a couple burgers a year but def more often now lol the owners have also “touched tables” with me. Told me about a show for one of my fav bands.“

“This is a true hidden gem in downtown Brainerd. Fun little bar with friendly service. The patrons are just as welcoming, and it's the type of place where you go and people recognize you after only a few visits. Sort of like "Cheers" from television years ago.“

“Sunday morning bloody Mary's were a winner! We didn't eat, but a group of 12 women near us were pleased with their breakfasts. The patio out back is beautiful. Lots of cool potted plants that are for sale. There's also a fire pit with Adirondack chairs. I'll be back for breakfast!“
“Had a great time and the Owner/Bartender was a wonderful host. Stopped there for Sunday football on the giant screen TV. The owner bought pizza for half time which was a pleasant surprise. Interesting venue downstairs which provides a unique atmosphere.“
“Great homemade food. Nice portion sizes. Flavorful. Good pricing. In addition to the regular bar style food like burgers and fries (which are executed well) there are also wraps and salads. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. We love going to St Mathias!Kid-friendliness: Large space a family friendly - a few video games.Parking: Large easily navigable parking areaWheelchair accessibility: Large sturdy wheelchair ramp“
“One of the better bars in town. The servers, prices, and portions are great. They have 1 pool table, dart board, and a few other game stuff. They do not accept cards, unless your total is $10 or more, tip not included. They have an ATM with a $3 fee. Their "kitchen" is also open until bar close (1am).“

“A new favorite place to stop or make the drive for. I went for a bold move with the reuben sandwich for my first meal of the day, and it blew me away. Neither of us were able to finish more than 2/3 of or dish, and it fed us again later. Shrimp tacos are massive. Amazing, will be back! (The merch is top quality too, I setup some of it!)“
“The year was changing from 22 to 23. I sat upon this very bar, listening to a song about me. Rather fitting I thought, since I'm drunk and there not. I go out the back door to puff upon a smoke. Then when I returned inside, the people were all different, not one the same. This is no joke. Stricken by wonder, perhaps fear was emotion I was under. Yet, the song played through, and everyone knew, My Niece, I TELL YOU! was up to some tricks, for me I says boo. A high 5, clap of thunder. Then I knew.“

“Pet friendly patio was a huge plus which is in part why we chose this place. Ourt server was delightful and made great recommendations and brought us a little pup water bowl along with our waters. Food ordered: Onion rings Macaroni and cheese which is the good old kraft mac n cheese for kiddos. Rigatoni Jambalaya bowl Greek chicken salad with a lot of great vegetables. Green chick peas were tasty. Turkey melt Beet and grapefruit salad. Food selection was pretty decent, but prices were a bit steep. Service was excellent and the deck area was very charming and again, pet friendly which was a huge plus. Great place. Great service!“

Our server and entrees were very good also! Only issue was the music was hard rock and LOUD!! They did finally get some one to turn it down and change the music!! Thank goodness!! We could not hear each other speak!! We enjoyed it! Cheers!!“
