“I don’t typically write reviews, but I went to this restaurant 1.5 months ago and had their chicken salad sandwich and a bloody mary. I became a part of the clean plate club that day. This is the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my entire life. The buns, the perfect temperature of the chicken salad, love and kisses in every bite. The fries were also amazing as well as the Bloody Mary. I live like 3 hours away but have thought of driving that far just for this sandwich. I think about it so much I had to come and write a review because it crosses my mind more than it should. The waitress was also super nice! One day I will be reunited with this sandwich again!“

“What an incredible place to enjoy a meal. Their service, food, and environment set them apart from any other restaurant in the brainerd lakes area. The new owners have really made this into an amazing place. Very personable and have been continuously having new specials to keep guests coming back for more. The patio is the nicest in town. Never disappointed, always happy at the woods.“

“Wasn't very hungry so we just ordered nachos for the 2 of us. It was a huge portion, more than we could eat. Service was okay. It was bad timing because shift change occurred while we were there. Service was great to start but when our server left then we were ignored by the next shift, had to flag one down when we wanted something so we drank up and left. When I looked back from the door I noticed that the couple moving in to take our seats had a server right there to greet them before they were even seated. Oh well, it's not the only bar in the area.“
