The chef was not very entertaining and in fact joked about a series shellfish allergy that someone at our table had. I was the only one that ordered white rice and I never received it even after a discussion about it. The chef cut off and threw away the fat on the steak which is the best part and adds flavor to the steak. Food was good but not worth the money spent.
My daughter and I had dinner here and while the food was good, talented chef, the bill shocked me- no appetizers/drinks beyond lemonades and was almost $150, and one meal was a child's. They add 20% service charge and announce to table this is not considered a tip, and while not required they “appreciate tips”- we also paid an additional $15 to “upgrade” to fried rice- apparently if you don't you get white rice, and the fried rice is what we like best- you are not told this when you order. Our entire table was questioning our bills between the seemingly double tip request and hidden up charges. Nice staff and good food but very loud, filthy floors and prices will be taking us to a new hibachi option in the future.
If I back out our alcoholic drinks. It was over $350 for a family of four to do this. It was definitely fun and we had a great time. It was a great show. But just be aware of what you're in for cost wise before you go
Usually a great experience, but this time hair in my food and management was not understanding.
It's been a while since I've ate at the Mall location. It's was pretty busy but I made a reservation while I was in route and was seated not too long after my arrival. Food was on point and service was excellent.
Unfortunately, Benihana seems to have lost some of its former charm. The service wasn't what it used to be, the two servers we had felt very transactional and not particularly engaging. While the food was still good, the overall experience lacked the magic it once had.
HORRIBLE LONG WAIT that took over an hour to get a chef even after we sat down! Please Hire more staff and pay them a decent wage so they want to work here! ...
My experience would have been better, but the manager was rude. I made reservations and then I called in to make sure some of my party could eat burgers. I was told yes. I get there and ask again to be on the safe side and the host and I'm assuming another manager said yes just as long as half of my party is eating hibachi which did. 2 had burgers and 4 had hibachi. We get sat and I explained to the server I was told and she went to talk to a different manager. He was very rude when delivering his NO he said it couldn't be done. I let him know that I checked twice before all of this and they said yes and he was very adamant about saying no. I also let him know that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday and I didn't want us to be split up hence the reason I checked twice. He still said NO. I said well you should have everyone trained on not being able to eat on the hibachi side. He said his team knows better and when I called he said that was the call center I talked to. How was I supposed to to know that. It was another party of three sitting at-the table and the gentleman and his wife ask the manager could you please let them sit here. They are already here and they're celebrating a birthday. The manager goes and says for me to come show him who said I can sit there, so I did. I asked if he could not be upset with the staff and for them to not get in trouble behind this. He asked the young lady and she did in fact let him know what was said and she also said that she wasn't the one to say it and the manager who said it just so happened to walk by and he ask me was it her and I said yes.He let her know that this was not to happen again and he let us stay at the grill. My thoughts from all of this is that it shouldn't have went that far.Once I let him know I was told twice he should've just simply explained that he would let us stay since we was misinformed,but in the future this is not how we do things. Instead I had to prove to him that I was being truthful
We had 6:30 reservations and did not end up eating until 8:30 as they were running behind. Not one person even apologized for seating us an hour after our original reservation time.
The service charge really ticked us off! We should not have to help the company pay its bills and employees. The food is already overpriced for the experience. It always has been and we have never had a service charge before!

I went to Benihana , the Food was Fantastic, the Service was Great. I would Recommend this location to anyone. The cost is a little high, but The Food is Worth It.
Good customer service But every time I order food to go they barely give you anything If you’re not dining in is really not worth it
