20% fee that isn’t a tip? I can’t believe that is even legal. The price on the menu is literally not the price you pay. We used to come here regularly, will not return as long as the price you see is not the price you pay.

If I could give it 0 stars I would! We waited 1 hr 45 minutes for our food. When the chef finally came he cooked all the protein first, shrimp was undercooked and steaks were overcooked. Rice was not fried he just threw garlic butter and soy sauce on the rice and mixed it with vegetables and chicken. Worst experience with Benihana ever. Save your money or go to the Golden valley or maple grove location.

We made reservations for 6:45pm was told at 6:10pm we would be seated near our reservation time. We walked around the mall came back and was told at 6:45 it'd be another 15-20 minutes. 7:10pm came and we were told as soon as the table leaves we'd be seated. They called 2 more groups back and at 7:24pm we were told it'd probably be another 20-30 minutes. We did get seated only 5 minutes later but didn't get our food cooked until 8:30pm, they close at 9:00pm. Today the food was not as good as it has been in the past and the service was not as good. I understand places get busy, but people were walking up making reservations at the desk and they were telling them to come back in an hour, they should have told them that they were fully booked instead of pushing the rest of the reservations back to accommodate people who didn't book ahead.
