“We ate there for the first time tonight, sat outside as there is not inside dining in the evenings. We had an amazing pizza and the gal working the counter was over the top accomidating. The owner even took the time to visit with us before we ordered and after eating. Will definitely return.“
“There are many choices for pizza in the Twin Cities metro. Many are très chic, poised in neighborhood's known for ridiculous rent. Some even, health conscious. Imagine that, healthy pizza. Wanting "healthy pizza" may be the product of a myopic dystopian society yet thankfully nostalgia has a cure. Godfathers's pizza in Brooklyn Park is worth a ride in a trans-temporal Delorean yet doesn't require one. This blast from the past is so good, it reminds you of things generation-x and their boomer parents got right. The cheese is real people. So real, it's salt content is hypertension-tastic. The sausage tastes like Italian sausage, not bland AI generated tofu. The jumbo size pie has crust that is crunchy, moist, yet easy to chew. Most chains serve something like prewarmed dough. Not here. The ambience is aged but it has aged well like that one girl from your 20 yr class reunion all the guys are now, super nice to. Pricing is very reasonable. When you pay for the buffett, the staff takes requests for pies. When you've overdone it at the buffett they don't have a golf cart to get you back to your vehicle but they should. The bathroom's are small but they were from a time before mobile phones ruined public bathrooms. It's a bathroom not a multimedia library. The soda machine is ancient so it works. The salad bar is exactly what Midwestern folks think a salad is and yes, has chocolate pudding. God bless America and Italy for that matter. Staff isn't rude and pools tips from counter but doesn't make you feel like a complete pariah for not tipping 800%. Classic and a great value. Hope you last another 30 years.Parking: Decent HC parking.“
“We've been visiting this Rocky Rococo for years. It's become a necessary stop each time we head to the other side of the cities. The slices are large, the dough is soft, the sauce and cheese pair well, and the sausage is always flavorful. They usually take about half an hour from call to pick up and the pizzas are always piping hot (so be careful!). We usually get two single topping pizzas with their breadsticks (those come with marinara and cheese sauce). For our family, it feeds 7 hungry adults with leftovers. If you've never tried this style of pizza, this is the place to do it.“
“I gave it four because I am fussy about the crust. As Londa had issues with crust, I also had issues with the crust. The crust was limp and tough. The topping and taste were incredible, just there was a lot of chewing. I had the Greek vegetable pizza. Most pizza places have one vegetarian choice so it was nice to see another choice and they did not skimp on the vegetables. The other person in the party had the Sriracha and honey pepperoni pizza. He really loved how the honey accentuated the pizza. He had never had a pizza like that. I had the battered fries and they were good. Tasted like other places so not sure if they bought the fries with the batter. Price was higher than the franchises but not pricey and a lot more on the pizza.Vegetarian options: Mostly meat but what vegetarian they have in pizzas, they are good.“
“Newly remodeled. Ordered the everything pizza (it was just ok), fish and chips were great, and so were the fried mushrooms. Overall, the food was good. We arrived at a peak time and got the last 2 available seats at 6 pm on a Friday (and the last parking spot in the lot). The bartender/server was very attentive and friendly. The fish and mushrooms were excellent and obviously made fresh to order. Being so busy, there was a lag or a bit of a kitchen miscommunication on food being ready, we waited 45 minutes, so a drink was given on the house - very nice. They were having a meat raffle, which was easy to participate in because the person handling it came to our table. The ceiling is high, so the acoustics made it a bit of a challenge to hear my friend talking, so we had to lean in to hear each other. I'd for sure go back because it's in such a convenient spot, and their tap beer selection was pretty good with something for everyone.“
“I am a frequent customer. I have been going to the sweet taste of Italy for 5+ years. The location I originally went to was the one in Crystal, MN. It was 5 minutes away from my house (by vehicle) Dominic (Long ponytail), the owners nephew is just a magnificent human being.Parking: It is in an outside town center. There are plenty of spaces to park.Kid-friendliness: They have place mats and televisions that can entertain your child(ren).Wheelchair accessibility: There is a huge walkway that can comfortably fit a Honda Civic, so you know a wheelchair can fit.“
