“I always get one of their calzones! So nummy and others who get the pizza also seem to like it. The restaurant does not have a lot of vibes, most people are ordering takeout i think. The service last time was quite slow, but the food is delicious so I will keep going to their various locations.“

“Generally good. tonight was horrible. I don't know if it's them or DoorDash. We ordered 2 pizzas at 8:20 p.m. and have the confirmation email for proof. it was supposed to take 30 -40 minutes. the tracking said it was on its way but an hour and 10 minutes later,still no pizza. We called. All we were told is it should be coming. It arrived over an hour and a half after we ordered, yet the box said we didn't order it an hour after we did. Someone must have reprinted the label to cover their butt because it was right around there that we called them. The pizza was luke warm like it had been sitting a while. We ordered the New Foldable New York style. It was no longer foldable and was stiff and firm. Pretty ridiculous when we were giving the DoorDash driver a $10 tip since gas prices are so high now.“

“We got the cauliflower appetizer which was amazing! We also got the three trips trip which was great along with the bread that comes with it.

The chopped zaatar salad was disappointing - it was drowning in dressing and all the romaine in it was yellow. We got the Bianca pizza which had way too much arugula and pecorino on top and you really couldn’t taste the lemon ricotta on it.

The atmosphere and decor are very nice. The staff seemed busy and overwhelmed.“

“I used to live close to Fat Lorenzo's and order take out all the time. I was in the area and wanted to stop by with the family. Food was excellent like usual, we had pizza, pasta, and the OMG sandwich. Family loved it. The kicker, we mentioned we were staying in a hotel and could they add a couple to-go silverware to eat the leftovers, they brought out plates, silverware, and condiments (Parmesan cheese and red pepper flake) for us. My family was so appreciative of the awesome food and service, truly a hidden gem.“

We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) “Small and cozy place. Not many tables. We were there on a weekday between lunch and dinner. Got an impression that the place is very popular for take out, people were in and out constantly. “- Fettuccine pasta was very disappointing. The amount of crab you get for $40+ is shocking and the crab isn’t even that flavorful. The noodles have good consistent texture but is overpowered by the butter. The citrus notes and seaweed can’t save this dish. Would not order again
- Squid ink pasta was the best. A perfected blend of Italian and Japanese culture in one bowl. It consists of a black unique pasta noodle that is easy to eat, strung along with orange clumps of flavor
- Mentaiko lumanche pasta was okay, my sister really liked it
- The brick-oven Margarita pizza was good, very nice dough texture but the portion could be bigger
- Maitake karaage had a good crisp, chewy texture paired with a decent sauce and refreshing seaweed
- Gyoza had a neat appearance but nothing special taste-wise, same with the mushroom
- I tried their non-alcoholic drinks- Kosho, Royal and Akai Senshi. Both taste good but overpriced for the amount of drink you get. Especially for the Royal, $12 for a small milk tea you is egregious. Even for the Kosho, you get 4 tablespoons worth of juice in a huge wine glass. I’m not a wine lover so I can’t really say I enjoyed the Akai drink but if that’s part of your palate all I can say is that it tastes like red wine
- Service was stellar, they’re quick on taking orders and replacing plates/culinary. Staff are all friendly
- Interior can be a bit loud and cramped. The narrow hallway design forces the noises of the kitchen and other patrons to condense. The music they play is R&B but the volume could be turned up“

Staff was helpful and friendly when ordering. Menu was easy to navigate. Place was very clean.

Note: The first thing we look for when we walk into any establishment is the front door. If it’s dirty, we’re gone! Again, this place did not disappoint.

Pizza was ready very fast with complimentary toppings like hot honey.
