“I have been to this location numerous times and it has never failed to impress me. The pizza always tastes fresh and it nice to have additional sides to put on. Salads are very flavorful and I enjoy the side of bread as well. It can get busy sometimes so plan accordingly. Staff does a great job to ensure everyone gets a table when it is busy.“

“We were seated right away after arriving for our 6 pm reservation. The atmosphere is upscale. The air conditioning was having trouble keeping up with the 100 degree outside temps. We had the chop salad which was lightly dressed. We also had the rigatoni in vodka sauce which was cooked perfectly. The pasta tasted fresh and homemade. We also had a cheese pizza which was really something special. A classic wood fired Neapolitan style 12” pie with great texture and taste. The wine list is defined Italian offerings. It was a great experience. Give this place try. You won’t be disappointed.“

“There was one single angel of worker running the whole store. He was stressed out from the previous customer of who he had to kick out as they shouted and cussed. Once he got to us he apologized on behalf of the other person. He handle the entire situation very well and was kind to us. I would give 6 stars for service if I could. I’m definitely going back.“

My partner had to get up from our table and flag down a server for an iced tea refill. “If you need your party catered, this is the place to go. Staff: Easy to work with, on time, good prices, friendly and very accommodating. Food: Gorgeous/amazing presentation , fresh, hot, professionally packed. I ordered from Red Rabbit in Saint Paul for my work holiday party. Everyone LOVED the food and the portions are generous. I was able to easily and beautifully display it. The timing was perfect and everything went smoother than I had hoped. This is your one stop shop for all of your party food needs. “I was looking for breakfast at The Viking Fest. No luck. Saw your food truck and decided to try your pizza. I got the white sauce, spinach, garlic, red onion and tandeer? (vegetarian "meat) was it called? It was suggested by employee...I was not going to get any meat option. My son got an all meat choice. We both absolutely loved them!! They were delicious!!! “Their pizza is spot on - every time. They also sponsor a suite every year at a Twins game and I won tickets to take my nephew - what a great day. Their staff worked hard to create a fun event. Tonight I picked up a pizza there. Got a call a couple hours later because someone left a wallet behind after picking up their pizza. They are calling around to customers who picked up during that same time to try to get it back to its owner. I LOVE this community because of people like this. ❤️“

“Delicious wood fire pizza. Perfect ratio of cheese, sauce (homemade!) and flavorful toppings. A thin but soft crust. Service was quick and everything was fresh andready as the text alerted indicated. It's a take out only somewhat rustic-hipster joint though there are some picnic benches outside. Would recommend!“

Sanjusan was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve had in Minneapolis. We went as a group and decided to order almost one of everything on the menu so we could all try as much as possible, and honestly, I don’t think there was a single dish that disappointed.

The Japanese-Italian combination sounds unusual at first, but it works unbelievably well. Every dish had its own unique flavors and textures, and it was so much fun having the entire table try everything together. The small plates, yakitori, pasta, and pizzas were all fantastic.

The Isaac Becker pizza was one of the biggest surprises for me, and the Mentaiko Lumache was another standout. The Hiramasa crudo, pork gyoza, duck tataki, and yakitori were all incredible as well. Even after ordering that much food, we kept finding ourselves saying, “We have to try that too.”

The staff were just as impressive as the food. Everyone was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely excited to walk us through the menu. With a menu this creative, having staff who can actually explain the dishes and make recommendations makes a huge difference.

The atmosphere is fantastic too. It’s stylish, intimate, energetic, and just feels like a place where you’re supposed to sit around with friends, order a bunch of things, and enjoy the entire experience rather than rush through dinner.

Sanjusan absolutely exceeded my expectations. The food is creative without being gimmicky, the service is outstanding, and ordering almost the entire menu with a group turned dinner into an experience we’ll be talking about for a long time.

Sweet on the front end with real habanero heat on the finish, crispy skin, and just enough sauce to coat them without going soggy. They're listed under appetizers but they eat like a full meal. I've ordered them as my whole dinner more than once with zero regrets. Get the house made ranch on the side to take the edge off the heat. The pizza is excellent, but do not sleep on these wings.“

We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats. Everything was superb! Coffee was great and flavorful.
Avocado toast comes in Mexican seasoning and it was amazing. Toasts were also surprisingly good and not too sweet, goes well with black coffee. The fries are drizzled with duck fat so cant really tell the difference but they were great too.
Indoor space is cozy yet fancy! The outdoor space was perfect too when plenty of shades. You're not sitting directly under the sun.
