“I have been to this location numerous times and it has never failed to impress me. The pizza always tastes fresh and it nice to have additional sides to put on. Salads are very flavorful and I enjoy the side of bread as well. It can get busy sometimes so plan accordingly. Staff does a great job to ensure everyone gets a table when it is busy.“

“There was one single angel of worker running the whole store. He was stressed out from the previous customer of who he had to kick out as they shouted and cussed. Once he got to us he apologized on behalf of the other person. He handle the entire situation very well and was kind to us. I would give 6 stars for service if I could. I’m definitely going back.“

“We love the pizza at Lola & have been coming here since it opened. It is always loud & busy, so that's just part of it. The service was fast but the weird part of that they gave some small glasses with lukewarm water to drink. we had to ask for water over and over. finally, the hostess brought us a carafe with cold ice water. the pizza was a good as ever!“

The sausage and onion thin crust was a hit with plenty of cheese and a slight spice on the red sauce. (vegetarian "meat) was it called? It was suggested by employee...I was not going to get any meat option. My son got an all meat choice. We both absolutely loved them!! They were delicious!!! “Their pizza is spot on - every time. They also sponsor a suite every year at a Twins game and I won tickets to take my nephew - what a great day. Their staff worked hard to create a fun event. Tonight I picked up a pizza there. Got a call a couple hours later because someone left a wallet behind after picking up their pizza. “Very no frills layout to the restaurant which I love because the focus stays on the incredible food. We tried several of the small plates and also an entree each. The service was fantastic, our server explained everything to us in detail and with enthusiasm which added to the excitement of the experience. The drinks were not only delicious but also very balanced. I would say that's a theme of the restaurant, great balance. I felt like the flavors for everything we had, from the charred shishito peppers with bonito flakes to the dungenous crab fettuccine, was very evenly balanced and everything complimented the other flavors well. This is definitely in the top 3 restaurants I've tried in Minneapolis so far. Highly recommended.“

It’s incredibly delicious, we’ve been back 3 times, and were delighted to find they now offer an even bigger size, which means we can bring leftovers home and eat pizza for breakfast (the best). They also have really yummy and inventive seasonal appetizers, including the best take on a Caprese salad we’ve ever tried. You can tell they care a lot about sourcing high quality ingredients and local produce. The service is warm and attentive, we’ve had the same person each time and she is awesome. Everything was superb! Coffee was great and flavorful.
Avocado toast comes in Mexican seasoning and it was amazing. Toasts were also surprisingly good and not too sweet, goes well with black coffee. The fries are drizzled with duck fat so cant really tell the difference but they were great too.
Indoor space is cozy yet fancy! The outdoor space was perfect too when plenty of shades. You're not sitting directly under the sun.
Cant wait to try other menus and cocktails next time.“

We've mostly been enjoying our Lucé at home the past few years, but had a teen visiting and wanted to give them the full Lucé experience. I made a reservation requesting a booth because of hearing loss and sensory sensitivities in our family. We were given a booth back in the corner and we haven't had an evening out that was so pleasant as a family in years! Staff was excellent - for us and the family at the next table with a high-energy toddler who had a spill that was cleaned by cheerful staff who assured the family it was no problem. We used to be that family, so I appreciated this! Everything was clean and the restaurant looks to be in great condition. The artichoke dip was the best ever (I swear we marvel this every time we have it). We tried two new pizza types - the Classic and Wild Mushroom - both were excellent, though Athena and The Lucé will still be our go-to choices. The greek salad was high quality and very fresh. The slice of cheese pizza we took home to our youngest was good (as always - it's the picky little dude's favorite pizza!) Another word on staff - We appreciated our host and server's clear communication; I'm unsure if they did this because of awareness of our noted hearing issue, but thanks to that and the booth placement, I don't think any of us had to ask for repeats. The host was very nice and gave me a great table and the atmosphere was cozy on a winter night. I ordered the Insalata and Pepperoni pizza and a nice glass of wine. It was all excellent, but far too much food for just me (I was by myself). I took the leftovers home, but the salad did not save well (I threw it away) ~ so my recommendation would be... if you are alone and want salad and pizza, order it ~ but mainly eat the salad knowing you won't take it home, and some of the pizza knowing you will take it home (it reheated fine, but was best at the restaurant) or get one or the other. “This is a lovely restaurant. We stopped by for lunch and ordered the lunch special pizza and got the Fireside Special pizza. This is a perfect thin crust za with a mildly spicy sauce. This place will definitely make the top 5 of pizza places I will visit regularly. I accompanied my slices with a Schell's Amber. A perfect beer to accompany this pizza.
