“This inconspicuous little spot impressed me! It has a huge menu full of food that I have found to be shockingly delicious. Massive wings! Both smash burgers and 1/2 lb burgers. Sunfish sliders?! Yes, and they’re great. I don’t know who’s running the kitchen, but they’re very good at it!
A solid array of taps, friendly bartenders, a cozy space with sports on the screens, smiling patrons… Tonight the place was full yet my waitress (Hailey, I believe) hustled nonstop so that there was never a delay in drinks, food, or checking out. Super impressive, and super enjoyable. (Repeat: the food is way above average!)“

“Sundance Entertainment Center is such a hidden gem in Minnesota! The bar is awesome—you feel welcomed right away. CJ, the bartender, was amazing with recommendations and so personable. Paul from the kitchen was outstanding, always attentive and quick to clear things when you’re done eating.
If you go on a Saturday afternoon, don’t miss the meat raffle and horse races—the Maple Grove Lions make it such a fun experience! Sundance is so much more than just a bowling alley and golf course. Definitely recommend stopping in!“

“This is one of our favorite places, we make sure to come every month for the bloody of the month. Today I had the breakfast tacos and old fashion, amazing food and drinks. Our waitress was fantastic super nice and conversational we’ll be lifetime customers. Mags our waitress was amazing - promote ahead of peers give her annual bonus. ✨“

“The atmosphere is low key and friendly. The menu is relatively short but all our food was good. Service was fast, and we liked our server he did a nice job keeping up with our table. It felt like a good neighborhood bar. We’ll be back for sure.“

“First visit there. Had the pizza and it was excellent. One of the best I have had for a long time. The bar tender and wait staff were really nice and friendly while still being on top of everything. “i got the chicken tenders and fries. i subbed coleslaw for extra fries, and the extra order of fries was i kid you not 10-15 waffle fries. when i combined my extra fries and regular fries- it looked like a typical order of fries from any other place.“

“I’ve been to Applebee’s plenty of times before and they usually have pretty good food & service. I typically like to get appetizers when I’m at Applebees - I love the spinach & artichoke dip, the chicken wonton tacos, and the brew pub loaded fries! I recently tried the new grilled cheese cheeseburger here and it was okay. The side of tomato soup was really thick and definitely felt more like a sauce rather than soup, and they didn’t give me very much of it. The fries were good and the burger was pretty good too. Our server was nice and attentive. I’ll definitely come back to Applebees again, I’ll probably just stick with their yummy appetizers in the future!“

“If bumper cars and lacrosse had a wild, adrenaline-fueled baby, it would be WhirleyBall—and Maple Grove delivers it perfectly! From the second we hopped into those little buggies, it was non-stop bumping, spinning, laughing, and the occasional “wait, where’d the ball go?!” moment. The staff was awesome—super friendly, quick with instructions, and clearly just as excited as we were to watch the chaos unfold. The court was clean, well-lit, and big enough for plenty of action without feeling cramped. Whether you’re a first-timer (like a few of us Googling “what is WhirleyBall” in the parking lot) or a seasoned scoop-handling pro, it’s impossible not to have fun here. By the end, we were sweaty, laughing, and already planning the rematch. If you’re looking for a place that combines competition, comedy, and just enough chaos to keep you humble—WhirleyBall Maple Grove is it.“

“We enjoy coming to JJs for Bingo and food and drinks. It’s usually busy on Bingo days, but we get there early and can get a table and order food and drinks before the first number is called. The service is good even though the place is super busy, and prices are reasonable. The waitresses are very upbeat, laugh at my husband’s jokes and refill our drinks without us having to ask. My husband’s favorites are the lasagna or chicken potpie. I usually have the Caesar salad with salmon and it has been good, although once or twice the salmon was slightly overcooked. The last time I thought I’d try something different and ordered the turkey melt and was sorely disappointed. I was looking forward to a slightly greasy sautéed sandwich with gooey cheese oozing out, stuffed with turkey. Instead the sandwich I received was like dry toast, with two slices of cheese stuck to it and a skimpy amount of turkey. I ate the turkey and peeled the cheese off, but it was very underwhelming. Please learn how to make a proper melt sandwich or take it off the menu. I won’t be ordering it again. Not giving a terrible rating, because this has been the only bad experience in over two years, but I just had to let you know the sandwich was terrible. Thanks.“
