“We had a nice quiet date night here on a Wednesday. Had the truffle gnocchi- it was bomb. I'll come back just for that! Our server was too young to drink to recommend a wine so I had her ask the bartender (I gave her some pointers of what I had in mind) and ended up finding a new favorite. The hostess, Tess, was also wonderful and bussed our table throughout our meal which was nice because we ordered 2 apps one at a time and then our meals and then dessert. Killing a couple of hours just enjoying a night out together. Definitely will be back!“

“Gosh, so many good things to say about this gem! The jalapeno popper and bacon burgers didn't disappoint, and the staff was friendly and conversational. Slower, after lunch rush ended up being the perfect time to go.We'll be back next time we are in town. Thank you!“

“If you’re in Oak Grove MN you have to stop in and try this delicious restaurant out! You won’t be disappointed!Their food is amazing the popular Pancake that is the size of the plate is so yummy! You’ll probably have to take a to go box home! The owners are so nice they are usually cooking with the cooks in the back when they aren’t they are they are talking to the guest and making sure everything is going well! The staff is very friendly and welcoming!The restaurant itself is very clean I honestly don’t know a bar that is as clean as this one!The drinks are amazing along with Faith the Bartender she can make most any drink! Besides, it's in Osseo which also seems like it's stuck in the 80's with the houses in the community being built in the 50's or older“

“Okay well as you see I rated this 4 stars and there is multiple reasons for that. I rated this lower but really it's a 4.5. And that's only because the noise... whenever I go eat there it is so unbelievably loud and I can't hear anyone talking to me so unless you go there in the morning it is really loud. But other than that the food is great and especially the breakfast food the Service is great and the waiters are really friendly one waitresses name is Mickey and she is like a family friend at this point so if you go there in the morning there is a 40% chance you will get her. “The pull tabs lady (blonde) was the rudest person I’ve ever encountered in a service industry position. I didn’t even feel comfortable going back to her today to retrieve the money that I won. Servers and bartenders were great even though it was pretty busy, and the food was great. :)“

“We were in town for a basketball tournament & a local recommended The Barrel House. There is a lack of parking so we almost didn't go in because there were cars parked everywhere. I called & they said there was no wait. We went into the dining room door first & you basically walk right into people eating, ha! So we turned around and went to the door further down which was the bar side. Worked out great being that's where we'd want to sit anyway! It was seat yourself & we were promptly greeted after sitting down. Our server was very personable. The food arrived quickly. She brought out mine & my husband's & said my sons pancake was almost done but she didn't want our food to get cold. I really appreciated that. When the pancake came out it was still steaming, delicious! We all really enjoyed our food. I had a sausage omlette with hash browns and my husband had a skillet. We will be back!“

“Went here for a quick bite after some cocktails. Packed on a sat night about 10pm ,bar and tables mostly full but we got served right away at a high top . Server was great,and typical American bar food but that's what we were looking for The Cajun dry rub chicken wings were pretty good and the boneless buffalo wings were okay too. Portion sizes we're bigger than I expected so that was a plus Overall I would come here again to check out some of their other grub“

“Lunchtime. Not crowded by any means. My server was excellent and attentive to my drinks. I ordered "The Tornado" burger, medium-rare with fries. The burger arrived toward well-done and was just average for flavor. Considering it's a monster with bacon and cheese and an egg with peanut butter, I was expecting more to be going on in my mouth. It was just average. Oh well, the fries were EXCELLENT. Crispy on the outside and very hot!Got out the door for $20 including tip at +20% because she did a great job. So all told, I got what I paid for. It was definitely enough food.“

We came without a reservation and it felt like we needed an act of Congress to get a table even though the restaurant is only half full. Still a good night out but could have been better,“

We used to snowmobile to it back in the day.It is locationed in the middle of a very nice urban area and off the interstate. It's location is not only very unique, but I think a gold mine or hidden gem as you will not find a establishment like this hardly ever. “Scoops Is a great place to hang out. They offer daily specials. Happy hours deals. Bingo on the weekends. Great brunch, and dart tournaments at least two times per week. It's a great hang out place for people familiar with the area and the service staff rules!!“

“I can’t say enough positive things about the catering at the Maple Grove location. I had ordered sloppy joes for my Labor Day weekend camping trip. When I went to cook the meat, I discovered that they had given me taco meat instead. Which was, of course, disappointing. I called them the next day to let them know, and they couldn’t have been more apologetic and accommodating. No excuses were made. They just asked how they can make it right. I told the catering manager that all I really wanted were the sloppy joes and he insisted that he provide a side of my choice;anything I wanted. They made it all available for me the very next day and added mac and cheese to my order. When I arrived, the manager greeted me and asked me if there was anything else I might need. Customer service!! That is so rare these days and goes a long way!! I will continue to go to Hy-Vee because of the way I was treated! And all of the food was delicious!! Highly recommend!“

“It's a fun local Bar, with the best burgers around. Sitting out on the dog friendly patio with a long Island on a Sunday listening to local Bands is a great pass time. Did I mention they have bingo or meat raffles most nights of the week. Truly a great establishment.“
