“I love the Blue Heron. I haven't been there for many years, because I live two hours away. This was a trip down memory lane. My sister, brother and I all worked there in the 1970's. We decided to have dinner there after attending our niece, nephew and three of their daughters' Spring Ice Skating Show in Richmond (where we grew up).The food was amazing, and the salad bar...YUM! It was as good as I remember it being nearly 50 years ago. We all made a second trip to the salad bar. Tomato bisque soup, delicious. We all enjoyed our various entrees, but ended up asking for doggie bags because there was so much food. I got to enjoy my meal a second time at home...silver linings! The server was very friendly and efficient. If you're looking for a supper club atmosphere with the bonus of a delicious meal, then look no further!“
“This charming home town restaurant serves up a great burger and fries, pancakes (Flapjacks) and perfectly cooked bacon. More importantly, the owner is delightful and makes you feel like family. She speaks highly of her town, and offers plenty of smiles along with great conversation.Clean and welcoming. We will be back! Mike and Lezlie“
“Ordered take-out from this joint located next to Holiday gas station and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and service. I ordered chicken chow mein, and fried egg rolls. The dishes were delicious and flavorful. The lo mein was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of sauce.“
“Excellent food, Excellent Staff. Some of the best burgers I've ever had.Great specials at affordable prices. Try the Patty Melt or fish sandwich too. It's also nice to see the owners working there too and always with a smile and hello when you walk in.“
