“The hospitality of the owners, the tastiness of the food, and the atmosphere make for a wonderful break in the day. Highly recommended not to be missed! Thank you. Oh, I thought you were looking at my thought. I’m David I can’t see David but.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities. The hospitality is unmatchable. Great atmosphere. The Ethiopian coffee is fantastic and comes out with the neatest presentation of incense too. Love the decor and music. And everything on the menu is flavorful and delicious. Thank you for sharing your talents with the public!“
“The indoor dining area has been converted into a dry godd store. This is probably great for the neighborhood after the riots limited available groceries. also, with COVID-19 regulations, this might be a more profitable use of the space. I stopped in to purchase some fresh injera. i stopped by fire injera and shiro powder a few weeks back, so I will be cooking up another batch. They are cooking food for takeout and delivery. If you enjoy Ethiopian food, I recommend you give them a try.“
“Delicious food great staff. Glad we finally got to go there and definitely will go back. The vegetarian platter is to die for. I cannot recommend this enough. We had the ceremony coffee and it was deep rich and best enjoyed with a bit of sugar. They gave us an appetizer that was some kind of butter and barley bar that was heavily spiced. It was delicious. If you like good food and good people it’s well worth the trip.“
“The best Ethiopian food and service I've had so far in the Twin Cities and I've been here almost ten years. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Very flavorful vegetarian optionsParking: It's a big parking lot in the backKid-friendliness: Family friendly“
“The food is excellent, and the service is top-notch. Not being familiar with Ethiopian food, we ordered the sample platter, which was the way to go. My wife and I split it, and we had some to take home. Plenty for 2-3 people. The owner is very friendly and attentive. We are happy Lucy's is in the neighborhood. We will eat there again!“
“This was our first time at Mesob. Not being familiar with Ethiopian dishes, we had the Meat & Vege Sampler; it was fabulous! The atmosphere was friendly, beautiful, and interesting. Service was a bit chaotic but it was a busy Saturday night after all. We will definitely go there again with friends in tow.“
“AMAZING! My boyfriend & I had brunch here & were shocked to realize that this place had been just down the street for months & we had no idea, which is nuts because the food was AWESOME. Great atmosphere with cool artwork. Super delicious. I had the Ethiopian sampler & my boyfriend had the breakfast burrito. Both were outstanding. The drip coffee was great too! This is a great addition to the Seward neighborhood & I hope more people check this place out, because this restaurants needs to stay put!!!“
“Such a wonderful restaurant! We came here as a small group for a close, intimate lunch/dinner on a spring Sunday. The atmosphere was inviting, warm and filled with appetizing smells. We were seated by the window, in the cool sunlight, in a booth with plenty of space for the three of us.We ordered the coffee to start with sambuusas, eating and drinking and talking merrily. In no time, the meals came, two orders of Tibbs and one order of Kitfo. The portions were generous and the tastes rich and delicious! We enjoyed every bite, leaving full.and satisfied with our meal and our experience. We hope to come again soon and try more of the various options! ?“
“My husband and I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and we were impressed by the food and overall experience. The highlight of my meal was the lamb tibs and the vegetarian platter. The lamb tibs were cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, with just the right amount of spice to give it a flavorful kick. The seasoning was rich and aromatic, making each bite a delightful experience. The vegetarian platter was a feast for veggie lovers like us. It included a variety of vegetable stews, lentils, and other delightful plant-based dishes. Each item was distinct in taste and texture. The portion size was generous, and the dish was served with injera, a soft and spongy flatbread. The restaurant itself had a warm and inviting atmosphere, with friendly staff and a cozy ambiance. The service was prompt and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I highly recommend this Ethiopian restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy delicious, authentic cuisine.Parking: limited space“
“Sabrina's is a little hole in the wall, but the food is phenomenal. My guy and I stopped here before a show at the Turf Club. I'd heard their wraps were legendary, and decided that was the perfect day to give them a try. I'm fairly certain my husband was wondering what I was thinking when we walked in - it's kind of dingy with wobbly tables, sticky menus, and fly traps hanging by the windows. I'm not one to judge a book by it's cover - I came for the food. But I did detract 1 star for cleanliness. We each ordered a chicken wrap (they're big - we probably could have shared one), waited about 20 minutes for them to get made, and proceeded to only make mouth-full-of-happy noises until every bite was gone. The chapati, the chicken, the spicy sauce - it's tingly grilled deliciousness as it's best. And my nervous husband wanted to get another after the show - so we'll be back soon enough I'm sure!“
“We came in at a quiet night... most of the business was carry out, but we enjoyed our meal a great deal. The lamb tibs were perfect and the vegetable sampler was amazing. Service was fast and friendly; no trouble finding street parking. Can't wait to come back.“
