“I stopped in with my parents and my 2-year-old daughter tonight for icecream after supper. My two-year-old loves Moana, and came into the store with her Moana barbie doll and was all excited to show Moana how she eats icecream. We sat down and started eating, and all of a sudden we hear the music from Moana playing over the store's speakers. My daughter looked around so confused on how her Moana doll was singing and I saw the cashier watching her from behind the counter smiling. It was such a sweet gesture for the girl working to play the music. It turned an already fun experience of getting to go out for icecream into a magical one. Thank you so much. “We were hungry and stopped and ordered their saurkraut pizza and it's was wonderful for being a bar pizza. They offer a full range of items on their menu. The person who was the Bartender/server was attentive and we never felt ignored she made our stay very nice. The place is your standard home town tavern and clean and friendly. We plan on stopping again on our way through New Ulm. Also they had a few of my favorite Schells brews on tap.”

“I love Pizza Ranch. But when my family was there, there was very minimal chicken because of the time. And I understand that, I’ve worked in restaurant places myself and I know that a certain time before you close you have to slow down a certain food. But it was about 715 at night and they closed at eight and about three different tables voiced asking if they were gonna make more chicken and our table did not that but we did want chicken and they said that they stopped making chicken. Like I said, I understand and I get but with that many tables voicing wanting chicken. They would’ve ran out with another batch if they would’ve made it. We were all disappointed. I literally paid for just eating the salad bar and a couple small pieces of pizza because I’d rather have their chicken and salad bar. In the restaurants that I’ve worked at we usually cooked up until the time we closed. But I know buffets are different so like I said, I’m just voicing my opinions. Also about 730 they came around asking every single table if they wanted any thing else before they close down. And we all said no other than the same tables asking for chicken.. And then they turned off the heat warmers on the buffet at 7:30”

“I’ve been coming here for years and have consistently enjoyed the food. I’ve visited for lunch and dinner, as well as special occasions like Easter, Mother’s Day, Christmas parties, and group events. I’m here about once a week for a group meeting, and it recently dawned on me that I’d never left a review—despite this being one of my top three restaurant choices in New Ulm.

I’ve tried many items on the menu and enjoyed most of them, but the Mayan is one of my favorites. Service has been great the majority of the time. On occasion, it’s been a bit slower or less attentive, but I understand that can vary by server. Overall, I really like the atmosphere, especially in the fall.”

“We were there Sun Aug 23 at 10;20AM. There were 4 of us. Potato pancakes were not hot. And came with eggs and sausage. It was supposed to be sr potato pancakes with crisp bacon. Hash browns were not hot and one of his sausage was totally burnt on one side and so was our friends!
Bacon ordered crisp was very limp as well as regular ordered bacon. Both limp and not hot. Broccoli was cold and didn't get butter for it as requested. We have never ever been this disappointed in Perkins
I think the waitress may have been having to run all over and busy. But she did her best for having to be all over rather than in one area! I'm sorry to have to point all this out. I dont think I've ever done this before. Thank you for listening!! Connie,New Ulm MN 56073
