“We had our golf luncheon at Maucieri’s and it was wonderful! Dawn and staff took care of every detail in making our event fun and worry free. We can rave about the meatballs and “gravy”. We also had a wonderful tossed salad dressed properly, not soupy with too much dressing. If you are planning a special event consider this gem in Crosslake!”

“The young man with the wrist brace deserves a raise for doing a great job! Weve been in 2 times this month and both times hes helped us! Hes been kind, built 2 awesome subs & checked us out! As a business Owner myself id be proud to have a staff member thats always prepping and cleaning between customers and when he had a customer he was extremely calm & worked clean! By clean I mean not mixing veggies when building the sandwiches and veggies were not all over the counter or floor! Service was great & food was awesome!”

“The view and decks are the best thing about Moonlight Bay. The inside is open with lots of room so you don't feel you are sitting on top of each other. The food is nothing to brag about, my fish sandwich came with "Dill Sauce on the side" it was a pre packed tartar sauce (like you would get at McDonald's). Just know you aren't going for the gourmet dishes. You are going for the ambience.”

“We were staying at a Airbnb in crosslake And we were looking for a place with fun drinks And found OX lake. Started with. French 75 it came in a cool glass and flower yummm Then tried the Lilly it also came in a fun glass and large ice cube and flower I had 2 My husband had a nonalcoholic mule We ordered the cauliflower bites Sat by the window in this fabulous seating area We loved it so much we returned the following evening And the lounge are was made into 2 Separate seating areas Perfect , loved it Enjoyed the Lilly and the French75 The. Today 8/21 on our way home stopped at the Warf Best burger ever Bang Burger The two restaurants owned by the same people amazing Thanks Deborah and Steve Menke Burnsville Thank you Julia for telling us and Ella for the great service at the warf”

Vegetarian options: I ordered the salad version of one of the new sandwiches. The server was so helpful and conscientious! He had 6 customers before us, and even though he was the only one working, he acknowledged each of us, and was concerned to get our orders correct. Awesome service and food! This kid represents Subway well!”

“I have to say all the waitresses that were on staff today 8/2/24 from 4-6 while we were there were amazing. This was the first time we have had and seen great service staff here. I hope they can keep this group of staff!!”

Besides everyone enjoying their meals, prentation on our shrimp dinners, walleye and fettuccine could have been on a magazine cover. Nice to see everyone pitching in to help one another (impressive). “Wasn't very hungry so we just ordered nachos for the 2 of us. It was a huge portion, more than we could eat. Service was okay. It was bad timing because shift change occurred while we were there. Service was great to start but when our server left then we were ignored by the next shift, had to flag one down when we wanted something so we drank up and left. When I looked back from the door I noticed that the couple moving in to take our seats had a server right there to greet them before they were even seated. Oh well, it's not the only bar in the area.”

“Good prices for ice cream and treats, but coffee drinks are a bit spendy. They could add a kids cone, but the server was kind enough to put part of the enormous double scoop in a cup.”

“A group of friends and I were at the Commander on Friday and Saturday night...we were so impressed with our waitress both nights. She was working with a broken arm and was always there when we needed a drink or something from the menu. She had a great attitude and was super fun. I believe her name was Alyssa.”

“We stay at the lodge every year and it is a great experience. The location is premium! There is a big yard and sandy protected beach. A great dining, a fire pit and free breakfast keep our family year after year. The staff are friendly and always helpful we park a boat on the dock for a week and enjoy lake life with one of the best sunsets available.”

“I was surprised that 3 out of 5 of our main dishes were lukewarm vs hot. Restaurant was not busy at time of order. Food was good, just lukewarm. For a $400 tab my expectations were let down on temperature.”
