“-Vinai MN- My friend and I wanted to try Chef Yia's restaurant due to being homesick and wanting hmong food. We were met with such great service and sat where we could see the work area. Chef Yia was so kind and started us off with a complimentary appetizer, rice Curry balls. We ordered and the food came so fast. As soon as I took a bite, my eyes started to get teary because it tasted like food from home. I started fanning myself to not cry which Chef Yia saw and asked if the food was too spicy. We then started to explain that we were not from MN and were feeling a bit homesick and how the food reminded us of home. Chef Yia then said, here let's do this. He returned with a pot of beef soup that consisted of mushrooms, bamboo shoots, beef and green onion and white rice and shared that this dish was one of those dishes that we would eat at gathering and events. We we so shocked and so at loss with his kindness and compassion. We both took a bite and immediately lighted up. It tasted like my mom's cooking 💓. As we were nearing the end of our meal, Chef Yia told us not to stuff ourselves too full and surprised us with a complimentary dessert which further awed us. We were so lost at words for Chef Yia's kindness, generosity and comfort. We chose the Lava Cake and it was soooo good! I normally don't like sweets but we devoured this 😋. 1000/10 would recommend.“
“Everything was amazing! There was really something for everyone, and I only heard glowing reviews. Also, Stephen was so nice and cool and easy to work with! The whole experience was really positive for us. We feel like we for sure made the right choice.“
“Thank you for your generous support of our recent Sojourner Project fundraiser. The pastries were delicious! We appreciate your support in helping us continue our mission to provide safety, support and hope for those affected by domestic violence in our community.“
“Our team coordinated a wedding with Food Gallery on Sunday, September 4th, 2022. The food was delicious, from appetizers to dessert! The fish tacos were incredible. Emily was wonderful to work with leading up to the big day, and our team thoroughly enjoyed working with Joe and his team. Highly recommend!“
“Vittles catered 30 delicious meals for the nurses on my unit! Thank you!!“
“Our recent HOMESTYLE takeaway Italian Night dinner was simply 5 star- the Chicken Marsala and Garlic Mashed Potatoes were superb. The roasted broccoli rabe with lemon and red pepper was also a stand out. Thanks to Create for a wonderful evening!“
“For the second year-in-a-row we've had Chef Jeff Catering at our annual Gala + Award Show. This year is was held in April at Union Depot in downtown St. Paul. We have to share that the spread of food and service was exceptional. The food was good quality. The catering staff was knowledgable about the venue location inside and out and made everything easy for us along the way.“
“As a wedding planner, it's hard to know what to write about first for Fork & Flair: their delicious food or their great service. They are both wonderful! Working with Devyn is such a pleasure and my clients all appreciate her responsiveness and her explanations. On the day of the event, the staff is on point and attentive to guests needs. And the food is amazing! The smashed potato bar is a personal favorite. You can't go wrong with Fork & Flair! - Keyed Up Events“
“Worked with Apple Spice Catering to provide a lunch for over 100 people. They were amazing to work with and everyone loved the food. Highly recommend!“
“La Belle Crêpe catered at my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday party. Everything was perfect, the event went smoothly and all items on the menu were so delicious. Merci Emmanuel.“
“Our experience using Classic Catering for our wedding had some ups and downs but was overall fine.
The food: We had a buffet dinner for our reception, and many of our guests went out of their way to compliment the food.
Day-of service: The staff we interacted with were super friendly, and our day-of coordinator said the catering lead and our late-night staff person were excellent to work with. Unfortunately, there was no water on the head table during dinner, despite us having to pay extra for water & carafes and our wedding party asking for refills several times. My sister wound up having to go refill the carafes herself a couple times during dinner. This wouldn’t have bothered us if it weren’t a service we had to pay extra for on top of the rest of the meal.
The planning process: Our point of contact during the planning process was quick to respond, but communication wasn’t always proactive and was often a bit confusing, requiring me to follow up more than I would have expected to clarify things. They could avoid a LOT of confusion by making the information on their website more clear. For example, the majority of the veggie sides are described as sauteed with butter – but when I asked about dairy-free options for guests with allergies, I was told they don’t actually use butter, but a butter substitute. Because of the dairy and egg allergies in our group, I was assured that all items on the buffet line would have placecards with allergen info, but day-of, that allergen info was missing from some cards. Thankfully, nothing bad happened -- but it could have, if the folks with allergies didn't go out of their way to clarify, which they shouldn't have had to do.
Nothing that was the end of the world, but given the price point of any wedding caterer being so high, I would have expected less stress surrounding our work with them.“
“I recently attended the NAWBO Gala at the Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom, and I was genuinely impressed by the entire experience. The space was elegant, beautifully designed, and the chandeliers added a stunning touch that made the evening feel special. Everything was well put together and comfortable, creating a great atmosphere for networking and celebration. As a wedding planner in the Twin Cities, I can easily see this venue being perfect for weddings or stylish events in the future. The Metropolitan Ballroom and Clubroom is a beautiful, versatile space that truly stands out.“
“Phenomenal food and a wonderful chef! We had Caribbean Kitchen cater an evening fundraiser at the Windward Fest in Wayzata last month. I was thrilled by the delicious and soulful food, including favorites like conch fritters and little key lime pie tarts. The beans and rice and the jambalaya was amazing too. I saw people going back for thirds! The chef/owner is the sweetest, kindest, most helpful guy in the world too! Highly recommend!!! ❤️❤️❤️“

“My daughter and I are acai bowl connoisseurs and have had acai bowls all over this country. We both agree that this is far and away the best we've ever had. It is the most delicious acai and the most generous amount. I always get the same thing. Classic bowl with extra peanut butter, cocoa nibs and coconut flakes added to the granola and banana. At home I add my own blueberries and strawberries. I try to limit myself to 2 or 3 a week but the cravings are powerful.“

“The doughnuts were exceptional! I ordered the french crueller and black eye cake doughnuts. I will be back! I also tried their iced mocha, it was more of a coffee than sugary drink which I am used to our americanized sugary coffee drinks which a lot of people might appreciate less sugar. It was great!“
“Did a small trial with deli Double and loved the food, value and service. They catered a meeting and everyone loved the food. Starting with the delicious assortment of nut breads, donuts and baked treats followed by super fresh fruits. The variety of generously filled sandwiches were a big hit including the requested gluten free bread on a few and a few veggie only sandwiches. Gourmet chicken salad sandwich on croissant was amazing. The coffee stayed hot all day and still tasted good. The variety tray of bars/cookies was delicious and that baby field green salad with honey balsamic dressing was a highlight for sure! Thank you David and Leesa, I look forward to using Deli Double again!“
“The venue and staff were incredibly professional, organized, and helpful from start to finish. I planned my wedding from another state, which can be overwhelming, but Will made the process smooth by guiding me through every step and keeping me on track with clear communication and organization.
The food was absolutely fantastic. Many of our guests commented on the generous portions and amazing flavor, my husband and I were actually able to sit down and enjoy the meal. The team was also very accommodating with dietary restrictions and flexible in helping us stay within our budget.
The venue itself is stunning, with high ceilings and exposed brick that create a timeless, elegant atmosphere.
The only challenge we experienced was during the unloading process. Since we brought in many of our own items, unloading had to be done directly on the street, which was hectic and involved stopping traffic and dealing with frustrated drivers. This could be difficult for couples doing a lot of DIY decor, though it likely wouldn’t be an issue if vendors are handling setup and breakdown.
Aside from this logistical challenge, we had an overall wonderful experience.“
“They were a hit at our event! 100% Recommend“

“A space with seemingly unlimited potential for events. Beautiful, top tear location. Every space in the building has a draw: the main space having projectors for every wall space, has endless mesmerizing capabilities, the artwork in the lobby is thought-provoking and captivating, the hallway to the loo, off the main room, is a cool journey of fun backdrops that coat the walls ceiling to floor: a perfect spot for a photo op or to chat & catch your breath.
10/10 would love to attend or throw an event there again.“
“We have used Kelber Catering, at the Minneapolis convention center for V.I.P. night for the Minneapolis Boat Show. The food and bar set up were perfect for our evening. They have helped us for the past three years, and our server, rep. Dan was great. I will use them in the again.“

“Chef Ted is the real deal. Forget about a caterer. This is a professional chef. I have crossed paths with him many times at events and have hired him myself on more than one special occasion. “I was driving by and did a double take when I saw their sign. I decided to stop in to see what they offered because Nigerian restaurant menus tend to vary. It’s a small carryout only spot. The woman working there was very nice and accommodating. I informed her that I’m vegan and inquired about a few of my favorite Nigerian foods: egusi, greens, jollof, and beans. She didn’t have egusi. She stated that she had greens but they’re made with fish. She then offered to make me a fresh batch sans the fish if I had time to wait. I most certainly do! It wasn’t a long wait either. I got a hefty container of food for about $15. There was enough food for 2 days (if I wasn’t being greedy).I tried my food right away. The greens were very good and clearly freshly made with quality produce. The beans were good. The jollof rice was SLAMMIN!! Perfection in the flavor department!I’m unsure how long they’ve been open, but they seem fairly new. They’re located in a strip mall with other small, locally owned businesses. Again, it’s carryout only; you cannot sit in and eat. (I ate in my car.) They also offer catering services.Be sure to check out this spot if you’re in the MSP area.
