Perkins Restaurant & Bakery Reviews
My husband picked up lunch for us 8/23/24 and we enjoyed our meal. My BLT and fries was perfect:) Bacon was very crisp with fresh fresh veggies:) Thanks so much
I got such a horrible treatment from the manager today. A couple came after me and he grabbed them real quick ignoring me completely. They were such a nice couple they couldn’t let him to that to me and they reminded him I got there first. He grabbed a menu and threw one at a table and signaled to sit. Perkins Restaurant & Bakery offers delicious food with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is freshly prepared and tasty, with meals like the Chicken Crispy Melt sandwiches being delicious and breakfasts always good. The Potato soup is tasty but very thick. The staff consistently provides great service, with servers like Angel and Makayla being kind, checking in regularly, and managing tables well even during busy times. The atmosphere is clean and friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience.
However, some visits can be challenging during rush times. The restaurant can become very packed with children screaming, yelling, and running in the aisles, disrupting staff carrying heavy trays of hot food and scalding beverages. This creates potential safety hazards for everyone. Meals can be delayed by a half hour to 40 minutes, though the staff communicates well and tries to manage with grace. Some guests with light and sound sensitivities find the experience miserable. A restaurant manager should be present in the dining room to facilitate safety and comfort and support staff during the rush. Despite these issues, the food remains delicious and the staff does their best.
