“I have ordered Gina's Heavenly Goodies a couple of times.My first experience ordering from Gina was for my mom's 70th birthday a couple of years ago. I had a couple of ideas of what kind of cake I wanted from Pinterest. I reached out to her and we met for a consult to discuss designs, colors, flavors, etc. In the end, we decided on vanilla cake/cupcakes (9x13 cut into a Kerr canning jar, w/ bouquet of different frosting flowers). Payment was easy, I believe she sent me an invoice via Paypal. We set up a day/time for delivery. The cake/cupcakes were packaged nicely in a giant bakery box the day before the party. No issues with frosting getting smashed/ smudged. The cake was hit! Mom said it tasted like her favorite cake as a little girl...Lady Baltimore.The 2nd time I custom ordered was for Thanksgiving 2019. I was responsible for pies. I don't make pies but I want fancy ones, not anything from the grocery store. Gina made me the traditional Pumpkin Pie and our family staple: French Silk. But I also was in the mood for cheesecake. Pinterest for research again and I found a Caramel Apple Cheesecake. I called Gina up and she was game for making all 3. They were delicious and baked perfectly. The Caramel Apple Cheesecake was the favorite!! I want to make it again for this year's holidays.I've also purchased single cupcakes and edible cookie dough from her when she has a booth at community craft/vendor sales. She'll bring multiple cupcakes of different flavors, some minis you can even sample. You can buy singles or packs. There were 2 flavors of edible cookie dough. The only one I can remember trying was Chocolate Chip. Hits the spot when you when you just want a spoonful of sweetness.“

“I have driven by this Mexican bakery many times in the past few months and finally stopped by. It smells amazing inside. There were not a lot of bakery options, but there didn't need to be. I would encourage everyone to stop by for a casual breakfast item or to mix it up at work and bring a box of goodies from here instead of the same boring donuts or bagels. “Came on a Saturday at 2pm and was a little sad to see that they didn’t have any of the vegan loaves of bread, but did get a baguette (contains egg) and it was realllllly good. Everyone knows that gluten free bread is not the same as gluten-filled bread, but this baguette had a nice amount of crunch to the outside and it was perfect with soup. Wish they had more vegan options available as not everyone in our family can have dairy and eggs. But absolutely will be back to hopefully snag some more gf goodies again soon!“

“Came upon this charming little bakery after walking around Lake Bde Maka Ska during a recent visit to Minneapolis and so glad we did.

We almost missed it, as it's in a nondescript office building and from the outside looks like a dentist's office. But once you step inside, it's warm and charming and full of friendly people and excellent baked goods.

I'm a particular fan of Kouign-amann, and wherever I find it, I have to try it. Black Walnut's is lovely - flaky and sweet and buttery without being greasy. They have a classic and a Raspberry Passion Fruit which is definitely worth the extra calories. I also had a Croque Monsieur, so I can say their bread is also lovely. The coffee and service were both good and the pastry case left us wishing we'd be in Minneapolis longer. Looking forward to trying the excellent looking Pan de Suisse next time.“

“The best cookie shop in all of downtown. They are always so flipping soft and sweet (well the ones i choose are) and it's really hard to have just one. My favorites are the chocolate chip and the double chocolate sea salt. Delicious. “I was visiting the St. Paul area and we drove out to Sift, braving the MN highways, on both Saturday AND Sunday morning. Totally worth it.

This is *the best* gluten free (and dairy free) bakery I have been to ever.

Cinnamon Roll- initially disappointed in the appearance/size, however, the taste and texture and the fact that it was GF & DF made up for it. I bought one on both days.

Chocolate Babka- the baked good was incredibly tender and delicious. I would prefer a different topping other than a cinnamon struesel, but still delicious. I bought one twice!!

Maple Pound Cake- yum!

Blueberry muffin- the best!!

Scotcheroo- I’d skip next time. Not enough “binding” butterscotch to the hard rice cereal. Didn’t fulfill those nostalgic vibes for me.

I wish there was a bakery as thoughtful and mindful (dare I say demur? Certainly the staff was! ;) in their offerings as Sift!

“What an exceptionally unique place.

Excellent selection of flavors, although I suspect there may not be much that's "natural" about the colors and flavors.

But for an occasional treat, they are fantastic! No shortage of sweetness, and the texture was to die for.

There are some reviews that mention a less than stellar texture which should only be the case if you wait a day or more to eat them.

I ordered two 10-packs as gifts and a bag of 4 of their "broken" macarons to try.
Day 1: INCREDIBLE.
Day 2: not so incredible. They seemed to dry out quickly. But if you eat same day, I am confident you will not be disappointed!
