“The food is almost always great. Every once in a while, you get a subpar dish or item, but it's very rare. Their fries are freakin awesome, just the right amount of salt and pepper seasoning. They have one of the top three pancakes out there... you don't even need syrup or butter they're so good.
Service can be hit or miss, this last time was fantastic... outstanding service.
The atmosphere is generally okay, nothing special... though it is almost always quiet, which is great.“

I relocated to the area in early 2020 from Nevada and since have been unable to find Mexican food that was comparable…until tonight. Picked this spot because it was the closet Mexican restaurant on the way home and it wasn’t a chain restaurant or fast food. This burrito is so good. “So, I’ve had unpredictable bouts of constipation throughout my life. I remember receiving enemas that were meant for elderly individuals when I was 8 or 9. When I attended this restaurant, I haven’t had a bowel movement in around 2-3 days. Previously before that I required stimulant laxatives, which creates muscle contractions to force waste out of your anus. I tried a basic cheeseburger with a side of fries, and a raspberry peach iced tea. As soon as I finished my meal, I felt it. The rumbling that signals such an impending cloud of doom in your stomach, causing your heart to metaphorically drop 50 feet from my chest. I drove home, as I didn’t feel it appropriate to require Perkins to call in a biohazard crew to wall off the women’s restroom. Immediately I rushed down to the toilet, and unleashed hell. 3 days worth of regularly eaten-and-digested goodness exploded out of my bottom like a flood gate- It was indescribable the stench, it could probably harm a small child. Like not normal fecal matter, something radioactive and potent enough to kill a rodent. It was half liquid and half solid as it endlessly exited it’s swollen, dark tomb. I have never felt such relief, and from the most unlikely of places. Thank you, Perkins. May our stars cross again someday when I need to take a giant gorilla dump.“

“The best cookie shop in all of downtown. They are always so flipping soft and sweet (well the ones i choose are) and it's really hard to have just one. My favorites are the chocolate chip and the double chocolate sea salt. Delicious. And they are a staple of downtown, I remember coming here in the late 90s when I was still in high school, they know what they're doing.

Parking: Plenty of parking, but its all paid. Its cheaper if you can find street parking.“

“I want to thank the staff at this Perkins for their efficient waiters and supporting members. I called two weeks prior to set up an area for 20 people. My husband had passed and we were having a family breakfast before everyone left to return to their homes. They kindly had it set up when we got there. The waiter, Joel, did an amazing job of taking care of us. With the help of two other waiters we were well taken care of by them. They served the kids first, which all the parents appreciated very much. I told Joel I wanted the check. He then helped me navigate through the card machine. “This was my first time trying Crumbl after hearing about it from friends for a long time and seeing it all over social media. It definitely didn't disappoint. I ordered on the app and my order was ready when I arrived and the staff were friendly. Everything I had was very good and tasty, I will definitely be back in the future. It's not cheap, but the quality of the ingredients and the size of the cookies is worth it in my opinion!“

“What an exceptionally unique place.

Excellent selection of flavors, although I suspect there may not be much that's "natural" about the colors and flavors.

But for an occasional treat, they are fantastic! No shortage of sweetness, and the texture was to die for.

There are some reviews that mention a less than stellar texture which should only be the case if you wait a day or more to eat them.

I ordered two 10-packs as gifts and a bag of 4 of their "broken" macarons to try.
Day 1: INCREDIBLE.
Day 2: not so incredible. They seemed to dry out quickly. But if you eat same day, I am confident you will not be disappointed!

“I have ordered Gina's Heavenly Goodies a couple of times.My first experience ordering from Gina was for my mom's 70th birthday a couple of years ago. I had a couple of ideas of what kind of cake I wanted from Pinterest. I reached out to her and we met for a consult to discuss designs, colors, flavors, etc. In the end, we decided on vanilla cake/cupcakes (9x13 cut into a Kerr canning jar, w/ bouquet of different frosting flowers). Payment was easy, I believe she sent me an invoice via Paypal. We set up a day/time for delivery. The cake/cupcakes were packaged nicely in a giant bakery box the day before the party. No issues with frosting getting smashed/ smudged. The cake was hit! Mom said it tasted like her favorite cake as a little girl...Lady Baltimore.The 2nd time I custom ordered was for Thanksgiving 2019. I was responsible for pies. I don't make pies but I want fancy ones, not anything from the grocery store. Gina made me the traditional Pumpkin Pie and our family staple: French Silk. But I also was in the mood for cheesecake. Pinterest for research again and I found a Caramel Apple Cheesecake. I called Gina up and she was game for making all 3. They were delicious and baked perfectly. The Caramel Apple Cheesecake was the favorite!! I want to make it again for this year's holidays.I've also purchased single cupcakes and edible cookie dough from her when she has a booth at community craft/vendor sales. She'll bring multiple cupcakes of different flavors, some minis you can even sample. You can buy singles or packs. There were 2 flavors of edible cookie dough. The only one I can remember trying was Chocolate Chip. Hits the spot when you when you just want a spoonful of sweetness.“
