Friendly staff, quick service, clean restaurant, clean bathrooms. The meal deal that comes with a Sunday is a great deal. Probably the best DQ in the entire extended west Twin Cities metro area. Nice outside eating area as well.“

“This place is heart-warming. I had been wanting to check it out for some time as I pass through this area a lot. It is situated in a rural stretch of road in Maple Plain/Independence near the Luce Line walking trail, giving it an almost isolated and greater Minnesota country feel. That carries into the atmosphere of the place when you walk in. I agree with other reviews that it feels almost like a throwback to earlier simpler times. It may seem to some like a diner or a dive bar, but everyone there was relaxed and enjoying themselves.The menu is impressive. You would not expect so much variety. You can get basic all-American foods like burgers, or you can try pretty rare things like frog legs, or they also serve prime rib. The range is wide, which is surprising to consider how they are both capable and supplied to do that. Prices are quite reasonable, too. Meals go from as low as $8 up to $30.In short, we were not feeling too adventurous, so we simply had a Northwoods Burger, a Ceasar Salad, and shared a slice of warmed Pecan Pie. We would get it all again.A shout out to our waitress, Leslie, who was a sweetheart and did all the right things for us.If you're looking for a place to just unwind, have a couple of drinks, enjoy some comfort food and the company of others, then you need to pay a visit!“
“Very nice people with excellent service. Super friendly. I had the blue cheese bacon burger and it was OUTSTANDING. Best burger I've had in awhile. And the tator tots were deliciously crispy. My wife loved her smothered chicken saying it was wonderful, as well as gluten free. Parking was just fine at lunch time. We'll be back as this was a fantastic lunch.“

We knew what we wanted, but it’d been a while since we’d been in.The moment you pull up you realize you’re taking a step back in time as this bar/restaurant has many of its original features for your eyes to behold. Creaking floors and doors and a long wooden bar with window cut-outs showing the other non-barstool side of the place greet you on arrival. There is an outdoor fenced-in seating area with tables. Numerous large flatscreen TVs adorn the walls, each tuned to a different sports event. No need for dressy garb here. Regulars and old-timers at the bar will stretch their necks and stare to see ‘who walked in’ and soon as they find they don’t know you, they turn back to their tap beer & buddy conversations. Good selection of beer on tap and bottled beer, and spirits as well.We ordered a large pizza and a couple beers. Pepperoni, ham and green pepper. Nichole was our bartender and Alicia was our pizza server. They were both prompt and courteous.THE PIZZA IS DOWNRIGHT AMAZING. There’s so much fresh cheese melted on it that you’ll need napkins immediately. It is not greasy at all. Crust was medium thin and perfectly baked. Everything tasted fresh and ingredients were flavorful, the pizza’s red sauce was robust and no too tangy, just right. Once you take your first bite you’re hooked for good.Supplied at the non-assuming bar tables are grated Parmesan and red pepper flakes in restaurant glass shaker bottles, salt & pepper, plastic forks and small paper plates. There is no server on duty so you’ll need to communicate directly with the bartender for all orders. It was easy to speak to her between the window cutouts from our table. Other tables away from the cutouts will require you to walk to the bar for your orders.As with most things good, there was a wait time while our pizza was made, then cooked. It took about 15 minutes to receive our piping hot gooey cheesy pizza.We dug in immediately, and you know that OMG feeling you get when you taste something amazing? …well this was it.Two very cold beers rounded out the meal. “Pretty fun, its a smaller place so when it gets busy it can be crowded. Never had an issue with service. Was in their 1 time it was so busy there was only 1 place to sit. Even though the bartender’s where very busy they still gave me great service!Wheelchair accessibility: it is wheelchair accessible, however the ramp to get in is pretty steep and narrow“
“Met a couple of ladies from my church for supper. The customer service was friendly, courteous and he was smiling. My chicken tenders and fries were hot/crispy. Dining area was clean. The server who brought us our food was nice, friendly. The overall experience was pleasant and would recommend dining there. Keep up the good work!!“
“Service was good. People were nice. The restaurant was clean. Good was average. Not even close to the best burger I've ever had, but not even close to the worst. Just sadly average. The onion rings were good though. Definitely would go back. The rootbeer from the fountain is delicious. I'm not sure how you make rootbeer, but they say it's made fresh daily. It definitely tastes different (in a good way) to the bottled a&w. Just more, umm.... Fresh, lol.“
“So I’m giving this only 4 stars cause last year we went and some dude toke are order and it was my grandma cousins and brother and me 5 people and we w ordering and he was very rude. food was really good but he was not. And when my brother was ordering he was not taking too long at all. Then the cashier was yelling at him and my cousins. I was not happy about that. And he was mad at my grandma just cause she does not have bad hearing and was asking to repeat what you said. like if you’re going to be treating my family and others like that you need to go. Everything else was good food 10/10. They did have air conditioning which was helpful food was at a reasonable price. I would go again but next time please be kind to others who are paying for your food because some people could be having a bad day or good day and just being rude can mess up someone’s day. But when I went back this year it was the same guy this time it was my Sibling and my grandma and me. He was more kind respectful which I was happy that my brother was happy but remember kindness is a gift everyone can afford Otherwise I would eat here againKid-friendliness: Kind people this time“
“We were just passing through town, getting a little hungry, and we saw this place with a bunch of motorcycles out front. (We know what that means!) We went in, sat at the bar, got served by the owner (Greg, I think). I had chili, the wife had a philly steak sammich. Fantastic! We hung out for a while, watched a little football, and met some of the locals. Great food, fun people, nice place. We'll be back!“

And I could never eat anything more than 5 which is the lowest you can get? Please keep this up. This is an awesome special. And I know other people feel the same way. You cannot tell me differently. “My dog wanted me to write a review that she’s very dissatisfied with her pup cup experience—we go to the Buffalo Culver’s occasionally and their pup cups are a small vanilla custard scoop in a cup with a dog treat on top. She said the whipped cream was top notch, though.“
