“Best commercial breakfast in the world. I make perfect breakfasts. It’s a lot of work. Coffee… I have roasted my own beans… too much work. I struggled to find orange egg yolks… most people will not find them. Prices at the Eden Prairie restaurant are low considering quality. Note that all “Original Pancake House” restaurants are not the same. Quality varies… greatly. Eden Prairie and Edina are same owners. They get everything right.Gratuity tip: breakfast is generally less expensive than dinner and lunch… probably because it is possible to make cheap breakfast and that is usual. When breakfast is this good it requires the same gratuity standard as dinner, maybe more so because server timing is so important. I have been to the EP OHP many times with as many as 12 people. Never once unfriendly or weak service. It can be very busy and require waiting. In summer the outside service is beautiful.“
“Excellent food , was very happy with this place just happened to stop on the way to Iowa , got hungry and, pulled off the highway to look to get something to eat found this place instantly . I was very happy with everything, and my girlfriend loved it as well. We will be back . It's amazing I would recommend this place to anyone . “I've eaten three times at this place and the food here is consistently good. The vegetables on my burger are always fresh and the burger is delicious. The lady at the register always has a smile on her face and is super friendly. On top of that, a burger, fries, and a drink is around $10, which is a great deal. All around, a great place to eat.“
“Kind of your traditional tex mex place. The food was fine. Classic endless bowl of chips with salsa. The queso was good. All dishes were served with rice and beans. Large menu, and lots a variations of same dishes between carnitas, pollo, pork and shrimp. Classic burrito, enchilada, chimmichanga, quesadilla, etc selectionsGood margaritas. Fairly standard with a few twists, but nothing super crazy innovative.The service was good, they were very helpful and where to please.Really a good place to get a tex-mex bite and meet up with a few friends for a casual chat. “Well, Cassie was a great food service worker. She apologized profusely about the ugliness of my concrete mini and was surprised that she could make something so ugly but promised that it tasted better than it looked. She was funny and attentive and asked if there was anything else that I needed.My 8 piece tenders with fries and a mixer were tasty. When did meals get so expensive though? Frfr, why is a Culver's meal $21? The world will never know. It was busy, but fine and the restaurant was clean. I only went because my friend wanted to go, and I thought that it would be super cheap.Parking: There was a bit of parking left.Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids here because even the pickiest eater can find something to nosh on. “I've been here a few times and the servers have always been great.Aumont never ceases to make my day when he's my server. He calls me and my friends by name, is prompt to serve, and always has a smile on his face or at least looks like he's enjoying his work.Mike is friendly, made my friends and I laugh and was prompt with his service.Both gentlemen went above and beyond while serving us.4 stars for the food because it's usually very good, but some things were lacking like the amount of sauce on my wings. However, we came in shortly before the kitchen closed with a big group so I didn't hold it against the kitchen staff. The food was still delicious and came out to us quickly.Sometimes the music is a bit too loud for conversation, but it depends on where you sit in the restaurant. I've asked Mike to turn it down a bit and he did without hesitation.Overall I believe this Applebee's is staffed very well and exceeds my expectations, my friends and I will be back again.“
